Tiny Bookshop

This is quite cozy. Cute characters. Gameplay can get a bit stale, if you're not one for loop style progression games. I found it fun for a time, and the subject matter is adorable as well.

If you love reading and playing video games, then this game is definitely for you! The vibes are cozy, immediately rinsing you in a wave of calm from the first time you enter. This has been a favourite of mine to pick up in the early mornings and the afternoons after a tiring day at work. It's also gotten me back into reading, as someone whose been in a reading slump (on and off) for a few months now. So while people are buying books, I'll read a paragraph or two of a novel while waiting to give someone a recommendation. I've never felt so at peace while playing a game! Also, the characters? The storyline? Chef's kiss! I liken it to Stardew Valley, my all-time favourite cosy game. This game whisks you away and immerses you in its world just like Stardew Valley does, but in its own unique way that keeps the game fresh. Although the main activity is the same everyday, each day the storyline progresses, you gain new quests and each day you have to strategically plan which books you will sell that day. It's incredible; I highly recommend this game! You won't find any other bookish game like it~

every bit as cozy as i hoped it would be, the mechanics are really engaging and the pacing is quite nice. I found the literary challenges incredibly difficult, and the patterns of people's buying habits in the different locations were important to keep track of, I love a game that makes me take notes! The journal has some of the stats, but I mean a spreadsheet, and those missed opportunities of a book not found being tracked. Cons: I wish there were more articles from the newsletter. I find the storage limited, and while that's a big part of the challenge, balancing the genres, I am unable to meet the demand and somehow I am unable to save up much money despite making so many sales. Also I wish that I had more control of the books I stock the shelves with, though I was in love with the click drag at first I would love to be able to control the specific books stocked to make a good variety pack.

Тихий уютный городок возле моря, интересные персонажи, небольшие приключения, размеренная и тихая жизнь и много МНОГО книг – все это игра Tiny book shop. Игра мне понравилась. За время игры я познакомилась с приятными людьми, с которыми не хочется расставаться. Клаус теперь занимает почётное место среди моих любимых персонажей. Он просто прелесть! Было интересно и увлекательно заполнять свой альбом марками и памятными моментами; продавать книги и советовать их жителям городка; участвовать в праздниках и украшать свой фургон. Так что игру рекомендую!

It's exactly like I expected it. Low pace, cute community and with smile over the characters life processing over the course of the game. There isn't much to do, but there is enough to make you more engaged than make the bookshop move from place to place to sell books. You interact with their community and they validate your efforts. Very cozy and lovely atmosphere, so I recommend it for those who wants something that doesn't require much. Decorations however is sometimes tiresome to get - the first year in game I could not for the love of me find a way to purchase and expand shelves. I went to markes, shop and checked the newspaper regularly. I sold out and people was disappointed about me not having any books. And the way you decorate is pretty confusing, there isn't really a way to see where you put the stuff you already decorated so you just have to believe its in the right place. It would be nicer if you could click on a decor spot and it tells you what in your inventory can be put there.

Absolutely obsessed with this fun and simple game. I love making recommendations on real life books to the characters and helping to solve cute cases around town. This game hits everything I would love to do but know it wouldn't work out as well in reality. Perfect game. No notes!
