Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10/day in the week to Jul 16 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great idea, but it feels like the only person who tested the game was the developer's grandma and she was way too sweet to give any constructive criticism.

Because of low price, it can be considered a somewhat good game. However, the menu is really bugged. Once you get past it, you can play anyway. Seeing a developer team leave their game in such a state tells us much about their devotion : none. Campaign is short, some mechanics are under used. Still really fun for ONE hour at 4 going through the campaign. A difficulty slider, doing the race in forward and reverse and some other effects and options would have been easy and would have added much play value to that abandoned game. Avoid Rumbora in the Future.
This is a fun game to play with friends, overall it is quite clunky but with the right group, you'll have a blast. Easily worth the $1 I paid for it! Just don't expect much, play for the wildness.
Tinker Racers, Next Penelope, and Ultimate Racing 2D are very similar: - Tinker & Penepole can both have up to 4 Local Players - Tinker has way better graphics but Penelope has shooting. - Ultimate Racing 2D can have up to 8 players, has lots of tracks, and lets you manually choose and add any track you want. Ultimate also has an insane amount of options such as Horizontal Split, Vertical Split, changing grid position (manually or sort them by last race result, fastest lap, championship standings or reverse grid), # of cars, # of laps, weather, etc. Rain makes for great drifting! All in all, I think Ultimate Racing 2D is the best of the three.
I was trying to relive my childhood, looking for a Micro Machines clone. During that endeavor I made the mistake of purchasing "Tinker Racers", a hasitly thrown together dumpster fire of code, a collection of software defects so vile and blatant that it would make every Junior programmer want to disappear from the face of the earth out of sheer embarassement. Tinker Racers achieves the seemingly impossible: To have a starting screen so broken and defective it crashes usually every other time any input is made. It also achieves the admirable feat to severely lag in said starting screen despite having plentiful resources available. What a marvel of engineering! Who exactly, is what I'm wondering about, through it acceptable to have a game crash before even playing the first seconds? Who made the call to ship this monumental software turd even though the dumbest of testers must have known how disgustingly shoddy it is? Devs, you cannot claim ignorance here. This is malice. It is deliberate. It is a premeditated software crime that you have commited, a crime against humanity. The only developers with the same level of incompetence/malice are those of "Ark: Survival Evolved" which also achieve frequent crashes in the spash screens. But let me be frank and ask a honest question to you. Please think clearly before you answer. My question is this: Do you have no shame at all? Is this not something that bothers you at night? That makes you rethink your life choices? Is this "product" not haunting you in your nightmares? This monstrosity you have helped bring to life? Because, honestly, it should. It really effing should.
MicroMachine-like.
