There are so many Games out there. So many Genres. Today to make something really new is not easy. Something unique. Something surprising good. Something innovating! Thats rare. Like this! Welcome to TIMEMELTERS! How can i describe it, hmmm. Okay, lets take a Little bit Tower Defense, a Little bit Time Management, a Little bit Action Adventure, a Little bit Realtime Strategy and a good Story and pull it all together into a Cauldron and stir it and you have TIMEMELTERS! By the Way, speaking of Cauldrons, this Game takes Place in a World where Witches are hunted like in Dark Times of History. And YOU are one of These Witches. But you aren´t bad. YOU are the one to defeat all Evil in your World. To be honest, in the beginning you weren´t a Witch but while a Witchburning the Ghost of a Witch is taking your Body as a new Home. And from that Moment on, you got new Powers and are, suprise, surprise, a Witch. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3439581513 In TIMEMELTERS you are playing Third Person. You have interestings Powers like bringing Trees to life to defeat Monsters, typical Fireballs and more. But the most fascinating Spell is the Timespell. Cast it and go into Action. Too match Monsters? No Problem. Return to the Point where you casted it and you have yourself x2, x3, x4 and so on, depending on how often you cast it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3439581050 The Game is following an exciting Story and leads you through different well executed Maps. Plan your Strategy well, master your Powers and have much Fun. The Graphics are really nice and the Soundtrack is really, really amazing and fits so absolutly perfect in. I love Gaming Soundtracks since the 80´s, heard hundrets of them and this one absolutly belongs into my Top 20. Well done! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3439580813 The Gameplay is absolutly fluid and easy to learn. The Story Mode can be played alone or with another Player. Not too easy, not too hard, but pure Fun. Too easy? No Problem there is also a challenge Mode, where you can test your Skills. TIMEMELTERS is done by the CO Designer of SANG-FROID: A TALE OF WEREWOLVES, another great Game. Games from Gamers for Gamers and you can feel the Love for their Games every Minute of the Game. A very big thanks to the DEVs for inviting me to this really rare Pearl in the Ocean of Games. Very good Job! If you are Looking for a good, not too Long Game alone or with a Friend that is easy to learn and much, much Fun, then this is for you. Thank you for Reading. Though the overall production values leave something to be desired the core gameplay is awesome. Excellent puzzles, fun upgrade tree that can lead to some cool specializations over all recommend to any looking for a unique puzzle game.
- only 8 hours of gameplay - constant obnoxious dialog boxes - screenshake that cant be turned off - no 4k resolution support
An engaging game and doesn't over stay its welcome. It's a little hard to categorize this game, but it is essentially a 3rd person, live action, tower defense. I've not really come across a game that represents chronomancy quite so well from a mechanical standpoint (plenty of games do a good job with the narrative consequence of time bending, but this game focuses purely on the mechanics to its credit).
A fantastic and unique game, criminally underloved. Innovative and engaging time-travelling mechanics with hybrid puzzle-combat gameplay. Rivals some of the best immersive sims out there when it comes to open-ended problem solving. And with solid writing and intriguing world building to boot! I played through the co-op campaign with a friend, which worked seamlessly. The co-op maps are clearly designed with multiplayer in mind, rewarding creative and tight coordination. We played the standard difficulty mode, which we found satisfyingly challenging without being frustrating. For anyone daunted by the puzzling, there's a story mode which supposedly cuts way down on the difficulty. 100% recommended if this seems even remotely interesting to you. And if you do play, leave a review. Help this dev out, this game deserves WAY more recognition.
The story's complete garbage, but nobody came for the story. That's fine. The concept is unique. That's what you're here for. Sorry to tell you, this is a puzzle game with pretty simplistic combat, not a strategy game. A 4D puzzle game is still okay, so maybe check it out if you're really curious and it's on sale for $3 again.
While the concept itself is cool and fun for a couple hours the later levels tend to become trial and error even at normal difficulty.
simple in mechanics but cool puzzle combat game. I wish there more open ended levels. Something that has more echos and way more waves, something that would test planning in time to the extreme.
Yes. Original and quirky fun challenges
So far I really enjoy it. The time shifting, splitting, and teleportation makes for really interesting play mechanics. I'm playing with a controller and the on-screen button references are nice. No obvious bugs that I can see so far. I find it a little reminiscent of Giants, which is a game I thoroughly enjoyed way back when. https://store.steampowered.com/app/557750/Giants_Citizen_Kabuto/
