Time Mysteries 3: The Final Enigma

It's fine, I'd give it a 68%. The end of the main story becomes a chain of HOG puzzles. And some are reused exactly in the bonus chapter. Inventory won't lock to an open position, the controls are reversed compared to any HOG I've played (eg hint is on the left not right), and the alternate mini game to doing an HOG is horrible. It's worse than just waiting out the hint recharge. Other alternate games are usually matching ones, this one is very very annoying and unwinnable at points. Giving it a weak recommend because I'm an easy grader.

Having played this right off the heels of Time Mysteries 1 and 2, it's probably the best of three games. However, whether you think it's better than TM2 or about the same is down to personal opinion. Once again, the hidden object scenes are a bit cleaner and less chaotic. There's more voice acting, which is far better than the oddly quiet people you met in Time Mysteries 2, nor is it as cheesy as the dialogue in 1 was. The puzzles are, as is often the case with these games, a bit of a mixed bag. That said, only the sliding block puzzles gave me real headache. The story, such that it is, comes full circle with the first game although I feel like they don't [i]quite[/i] sync up as well as they could. This is largely due to the manner of time travel in the original game versus the sequels, but as was the case with the second game having a map/locations easily accessible via your device is [i]infinitely[/i] more helpful than the way you did it in the first game. For a change, the playable bonus story is less of an epilogue and just something fun to do afterwards. I won't spoil it, but either way it's a good thing that Steam [i]usually[/i] has the Collector's Editions of these games and not the Standard Editions. Either way, if you enjoy the genre, and/or Artifex Mundi games in general, then this is an easy recommendation.

This was the third and final installment of the Time Mysteries series, and I must say, it was a truly well-crafted tale of the time. While storyline-wise, I would still prefer the second game over this final installment, it would be unwise to say this game was a let down. Achievements were not difficult to get. The first half of the game is also similar to the second game, yet the second half is where things get immediately interesting. This game ties up the first game, and you will notice the big upgrade of the areas similarly shown from the first game. In essence, this happened to be what fascinated me into liking this game as much as the second installment. One thing that only bothered me was the inability to lock the inventory to see it all the time. Anything else, such as voice acting, storytelling, puzzles, or characters, I have no other comments about. I have strictly played this game for about 2 hours (basis on first and last achievement taken, one-sitting playthrough), do not believe the progress Steam shows you as I write this review. On average, that is a good length of gameplay. While I did mention preference-wise that I preferred the second game, I would definitely still rate this game an [u]8/10[/u] as a closing chapter for the series. A positive recommend guaranteed.

Неплохой способ убить время. Головоломки логичные, рисовка приятная. Среднее время прохождения вместе с бонусной главой занимает около 3 часов. Присутствуют коллекционные карточки Steam.
