Charming, whimsical, and very fun. A typical run starts a little slow - just your beaver employee of choice and their trusty teeth - but gradually ramps up as you acquire and upgrade your tools. You know: axes, interns, anvils, elephants, giant burrowing worms, golfballs, missiles, tennis machines, penguins... by the latter shifts you'll be tearing through the tree like it's made of paper! If you play your cards right, that is, because there is some strategy to this. Just enough to keep you from drifting off with the wonderful music. Or being eaten by bats, or worse, fired. It's great. Play it when you want to play something simple and fun. Or if you have a debt to a bunch of shady imps that can only be paid off with ten days and nights of chomping timber. Either works!

I have been waiting for this game and i can say it was worth it

I was already a big fan of the demo version, and the full game definitely lived up to my expectations. The gameplay is simple but super addictive, with fast-paced action that keeps you hooked for "just one more round". The visuals are charming, the controls feel smooth and it's the kind of game that is easy to pick up but hard to put down. Definitely worth buying!

Way harder than it looks but you get caught by it so quickly! Really fun game

In my opinion Timber Fever has a lot of excellent qualities: the gameplay is relaxing but still engaging, the progression is rewarding, the learning curve is well-designed, it features a charming art-style and theme, and you can break the game with many different builds which keeps it fresh for quite some time. The only criticism I have is that some weapons are clearly much stronger than others, so you could call that a bit unbalanced, but then again, that is also part of what makes a roguelite fun: some runs you get to take it easy after hitting an extremely broken build, and other runs you have to put in more effort because you didn't get so lucky. So is it even a criticism? I don't know, you decide Overall, I find this game to be great fun, and I'm honestly surprised that it has so few reviews after being out for almost a week (only 19 at the time of writing). For anyone interested in these types of games, I definitely recommend giving it a try.

I like it! I dont know why but these kind of games just tickle my brain in the right places. Number go up, brain go YES MORE!

good dopamine rush

Love cutting down trees, now I don't need to find a new tree every time with this infinitely tall tree. Love the peace sign weapon. Fun game.
