I feel kinda sad to give this game a bad review, but it just doesn't click for me. When I bought the game, I was expecting some light-hearted, silly little gimmick game, but in reality it takes itself pretty seriously. The overall gameplay is your usual RPG Maker "time management" stuff, it's alright though never managed to "pick me up". And that says something as I've played most Persona games, which were an official inspiration for this game. Graphics and overall content are fine and the characters seem to have quite a bit of depth to them. There's even a bit of voice acting! What little I've seen about the story also seems alright - again, nothing about the core gameplay is terrible. 2 things kinda threw me off though; for once, for a "tickle game" there seems to be little "tickle content". Maybe they add to it in the later game, but except for a few textboxes and small animations, it's like any other normal game. The "fights" and "dungeons" are also just regular turn-based RPG Maker content, only the move names have been changed to "tummy poke" and stuff. I'm not the biggest tickle lover on earth, but I still feel like I'm missing something here, like playing a censored H game without a "Patch". And second, the gallery - which is usually a big part of "motivation" in these games - is filled with AI generated images that don't fit any style in the game and some are riddled with artifacts. Like - seriously? It's fine if those are just placeholders, but I don't think they are. The "Tickle Magnet" comics this game is based on have an amazing artstyle and this game has...none of that. Maybe I'm the issue here, maybe the developer fixes some of my gripes in the future, maybe it's just a mediocre game - play it and find out for yourself I guess.
Very nicely done! Tickling is a very niche interest, and is notoriously difficult to write for. The devs here did a great job with the virtual novel/dating simulator format. There are 5 main npcs to date: three female and two male -- making it an ultra-rare experience for those who enjoy male tickling-possibly unique with regards to tickling games. Many kudos to the dev team for this, as their previously published comic series have been primarily (though not exclusively) female focused. The story is quite well told. I can be a little grindy at times, as it centres around the life of a sophomore college student. In addition to the main story and romance story, there is some fun side content to engage with as well. The writers are clearly interested in the topic and understand the attractions. Any cons I would have to give are strictly personal. There is very little to justify an Adults-only rating. That might not have been something the devs had control over, but even so, if they had to publish under that rating, they probably could have leaned into it a lot more. Also, I (personally) would have liked more intense situations (ie interrogation, or similar non-consensual situations). The content leans more towards light and playful. The intense stuff is technically there, but it is off-screen and implied to have happened rather than a direct part of the story; instead we are left to witness or deal with the apparent aftereffects on other people. In my opinion, this detracts quite significantly from the 'fantasy' aspect of the genre I would have preferred even more male content. (Note that for those who are NOT interested in male content with regards to tickling, it is entirely skippable. The same cannot quite be said for those not interested in female content, but for the vast majority of people reading this, that will not be a problem!) However I am a realist, and am quite grateful for what is there, especially as it is quite well-written. Having said that the main developer is active on their discord server and open to discussion. They have already made additions and changes in response to feedback, as a result. This is a very good. Cheers!
This is an amazing game and filled a niche for me, since no other game I have ever seen, whether adult-oriented or not, has ever had more than a passing reference to tickling. This game changes that with dozens of scripted tickling encounters, ranging from playful to erotic, but it weaves the tickling seamlessly into an engaging story. Great writing, great characters and superb voice acting for the significant characters as well! Highly recommended for anyone with the tickling fetish!
The story is excellent and catches you, I really wanted to know what was next and although I imagined where the plot was going, I really wanted to get there. The dialogues are perfect for someone in the world, they really ignite our instincts as ticklers. The art is beautiful, the images of the characters and their voices are excellent, it really makes you wish you could meet them. Including images as a "reward" depending on the decisions you make is... You just nailed it with this!!! It gives a huge motivation to play and repeat over and over again to have the different pinups. The battles, although simple and a little repetitive, add something extra to the game to refresh you a little and give you a "break" from the main story, it is fun to play the "Dungeons" since they provide enough of a reward while remaining optional. This need to be tried by every tickle fan!!!
