The Empire

The Empire of Thule was founded centuries ago by a powerful and divine being from the Celestial Realm.
The Empire’s goal became a crusade for human supremacy, aiming to rid Thule of its diverse inhabitants and create a unified, harmonious world for mankind.
Infernal Cult

Beelzebaal, a demonic overlord of unparalleled power and insatiable ambition, set his sights on Thule, a realm ripe for conquest and corruption. To realize his sinister vision, he dispatched his two most formidable demon commanders, Belfaz and Melina, to establish a foothold and spread his infernal influence.
The Infernal Cult quickly became a haven for society's most reviled elements. Criminals, dark mages and those who harbored deep hatred for the Empire flocked to their banner.
Ironpeak Union

For centuries, the dwarven race has been entrenched in a relentless battle beneath the surface of the world. They waged wars against the countless horrors lurking in the shadowy depths of the earth. Yet through their resilience, mastery of stone and undying resolve, the dwarves endured, forging an underground empire amid the endless conflicts and dangers.
The Ironpeak Union is a coalition of city-states and strongholds, a body composed of the most respected and powerful leaders from each of their towns. With the deep mostly secured, The Ironpeak Union turned their gaze upward, toward the surface of Thule.
Zyrrnoxi

The Zyrrnoxi are a terrifying and intelligent race, born from an ancient biomass that lurks in the dark, cold expanses of the ocean's depths.
Though spawned from the ocean's abyss, the Zyrrnoxi have evolved beyond mere sea creatures. Over centuries of conflict and adaptation, they have developed a complex and advanced civilization beneath the waves. They have vast underwater cities, constructed with bio-engineered materials and supported by an intricate economy.
Necrotic Conclave

A secretive society of necromancers who hail from an ancient race long lost to time. Banished for their forbidden pursuit of necromancy, they split from their kin and retreated to the frozen wastes of Thule. While their original race faded into obscurity, the necromancers, led by the powerful Melkor, used the mystical energies of the Ether to prolong their existence.
Xibal Tribes

Far to the southwest of Thule lies the suffocating jungle of Xibal. For generations its tribes warred in endless blood-feuds, mastering ambush and beast-taming. Outsiders assumed these tribes too fractured and too savage to ever threaten Thule itself. That changed when Camazotz the Unifier rose from the southern depths, crushing rival clans and forging them into a single force. For the first time in centuries, the jungle tribes stood united, their fury coiled like a storm ready to sweep across Thule.
Thule
Thule is a dark and depressing realm, various races coexist amidst an unforgiving and dangerous landscape.
The lands are teeming with diverse and formidable wildlife, including wild animals and other beasts that add to the ever-present danger.
Many factions vie for dominance and control over the land, each driven by their own motivations and beliefs.
The Infernal Dominion
A realm steeped in eternal conflict. Demon legions engage in relentless warfare against one another, vying for dominance and control.
The Infernal Dominion is structured with a hierarchy of demon lords, each commanding their own legions of demonic followers. These demon lords hold dominion over different regions of the realm and maintain fortified strongholds, where they plot and scheme to expand their power and influence.
The current ruler is Beelzebaal.
Veil of Darkness
Veil of Darkness is a realm where shadows and illusions hold sway. It is a place where reality is distorted and nothing is as it seems. Illusory landscapes, shifting mists and mirages make navigation treacherous, leading travelers astray or luring them deeper into the realm's depths.
Scattered throughout the Veil of Darkness are the remnants of forgotten civilizations and mysterious ruins. These dilapidated structures hold remnants of lost knowledge and artifacts of immense power.
The Celestial Realm
The Celestial Realm stands as a beacon of virtuous ideals and moral excellence. It is a place where the purest manifestations of goodness, compassion and selflessness are celebrated and embodied. Beings within this realm are enlightened and they embody virtues such as wisdom and harmony.
It is protected by celestial guardians, ethereal beings of immense power and purity. While they remain dedicated to preserving harmony, they have a darker aspect to them. These guardians are obsessed with perfection within their realm and are unyielding in their pursuit of maintaining an immaculate order. They view any perceived flaw or disruption as a threat and are swift to take action to eliminate it.

Assumptions: Solo developer or siimilar Thule is an old school over map strategy game with a combat system similar to Dominions and Elysium. In a similar vein to Elysium, it's not as complicated overland as Civilization but gives a little more complexity in the combat space. If you're a veteran in this space, what you need to know is: - It's more pick up and play than the Civilization series. You don't forget what you're doing between save games. - It's not quite to the same polish level as Elysium and Dominions in game logic. - It's more forgiving than Elysium, less random, with a smaller scope. Thule does exactly what it says on the tin. Every faction has a gimmick or two on the strategic layer with various buildings that reward the player for their actions. There are various units, and overland creatures and armies have vulnerabilities that can be exploited. There is an equipment system and you can deploy equipment to almost anything or anyone you please. The autobattle section works best when you deploy your own units. The default deployments will have you losing units regularly. Especially since you want to level those units up. The biggest downside to Thule is that other games like Elysium exist. Though if you were looking for something more pick up and play and forgiving, Thule won't lead you wrong. However it exists in a line between having not enough complexity in its factions, and not having enough of them. The developer could have considered either direction here: less factions with more features, or more factions with sparser mechanics. The user interface is simple and about even to its competitors, often with the same draw backs. Sometimes you need an extra click to get something done, sometimes it's a click better than the competition. If you haven't played games like this, the features that allow armies to swap units will confuse you but it's fairly standard in the genre. Thule is a solid base for a game series, perhaps with some more love added to differentiate it but the generic fantasy styligns and design choices place it in direct competition with other better games. Buy if you want to support a small developer. Disclaimer: It's fairly clear AI has been used here. Life is difficult to small developers, so be kind but purchase based on your own feelings on the matter.

It harkens back to the early Conquest of Elysium games before they had all the complex interactions between races and gods etc etc. A nice, fun, 4x type of game. Also any bugs I've come across have been fixed promptly.
An interesting take on 4x strategy genre. Build up towns. Hire units. Get some artifacts for your commanders. Go fight others. I would rate this game at 8.5/10 - 9/10 ~~My only issue has been fixed, thanks to the developer for a quick patch~~
It's a bit early in my review so I'll probably update it later but you should read my review about a game called Leylines it is similar to this game. Thule is a deep fantasy 4x war game which uses a Auto battler which I really am not a big fan of however it reminds me of Leylines and Warlords IV Heroes of Etheria which uses a different kind of auto battler which brought me to like this game. Here is what makes this game interesting to me and likely others that like 4x Fantasy war games. It is a deep game where it appears all your units and leaders have no level restrictions which I love. The game seems to have 3 realms to explore which I have not done yet, but always great to have more maps to explore and fight for. Every unit and your leaders can equip a lot of different kinds of items to make them better which is a big reason I actually like this game. Typically in some games only the leader can equip items and not your army. I can see in this game it is important to actually try to keep your units especially stronger ones alive so they can get tougher. As defeat does hurt your economy as you micro manage your town and armies. The music in the game isn't to bad. So in conclusion is this the kind of game a 4x fantasy war gamer could play for a long time possibly years? I would have to say yes especially if you like auto battlers which I don't as much, however the other things I mentioned above made up for this is a major way. While this review is still early I have played enough games in my time to know if something is worth recommending or not so I give the game a thumbs up. So support the developer whom seems active with updates which he added a new faction not to long ago. This is a game that certainly deserves more attention for sure. For being a solo developer who made this game I'd have to say you did a great job and continue to expand your vision to make this game even better. As for others enjoy and happy gaming.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- English: Well, I tried to play the game. As I said, why? You want to control the game with the mouse and suddenly it is switched to controllers and then mouse operation. The user interface is totally old -fashioned and anything but intivetive Transferring troops from a city to the army is almost as complicated as a tax return. 17.49 euros are totally overpriced, the graphic is a joke, with GROK you can get a much better game. Really a disappointment and hopelessly overpriced!
I want to like it but I can't, not for this price.
Janky you can't move troops freely between your hero and base. i hired a bunch of units and could not put them with my hero. Jank.
