"Three Goblin Wobblin'" is a physics-based movement game developed by Cutting Edge Entertainment, where players control three goblins stacked in a trench coat, attempting to infiltrate human establishments to sample the forbidden beverage, beer. The game combines humor, challenging mechanics, and a unique premise to deliver an engaging experience. Pros: - Innovative Gameplay Mechanics: The game offers a fresh take on physics-based movement, requiring players to balance and maneuver the goblins through various environments, providing both challenge and amusement. - Charming Art Style and Humor: The whimsical visuals and lighthearted narrative create an endearing atmosphere, making the goblins' quest both entertaining and memorable. - Level Editor and Community Content: An in-game level editor allows players to create and share their own levels, fostering a creative community and extending the game's replayability. Cons: - Steep Learning Curve: The unique control scheme can be challenging to master, potentially leading to frustration for some players. - Limited Level Variety: While the game offers multiple locations, some players may desire a greater diversity in level design and challenges. - Occasional Technical Issues: Some users have reported minor bugs and glitches, such as clipping through objects or unexpected physics behavior, which can disrupt gameplay. In conclusion, "Three Goblin Wobblin'" delivers a delightful and challenging experience with its innovative mechanics and charming presentation. Despite a few drawbacks, it stands out as a unique addition to the physics-based genre. Score: 9 out of 10 frothy mugs—A tipsy adventure worth toasting to.
Just completed the game on hard difficulty and here is my piece. Idea and memes 5/5 Difficulty 5/5 Implementation 4/5 I had a blast in the past 12 hours. The game is equally hilarious and difficult. For appreciators of games such as Getting Over it, Only Up, A difficult game about climbing - this game is for you. Amazing concept. Now a tiny bit of criticism and my observation. The game heavily relies on RNG when assigning movement to the mobs. So after 3 hours trying to complete the level, you will still see the mobs walking in the most unexpected places which I found super frustrating but hey, the game is supposed to be hard :D Also, the game locked on me twice after death - the black screen would not disappear and I was forced to restart the level. Regardless, I persisted and became the king. Massive Kudos to the developers !!! Hoping to see more one day :) If you need help completing the game, check out my play through on Youtube @s.volandd
10/10 would recommend! A very challenging game at first until you get used to the controls. After that, it's pure enjoyment. The art style and music are so soothing that even when I failed multiple times in a row, I didn't get mad but had fun trying. The cheering goblins with their encouraging messages definitely helped me stay positive and try it again and again. The satisfaction you get from completing a level is priceless.
I also can confirm the goblin do wobblin
Sees chill looking game on steam, controls are wasd and ijkl, no mouse needed. Le me thinks: perfect for relaxing before bed. Lays in bed, laptop in lap, ready to relax and go to sleep. GETS STRESSED MORE BECAUSE 3 GOBLIN MUCH WOBLIN. Would play again
Three Goblin Wobblin' makes me feel like a wacky inflatable flailing arm goblin. I enjoyed it but i got very tense as i had to control it. I highly recommend controller 8/10
Realy tricky game lik ALt F4 i like it
10/10 Would wobble again!
I can't recommend this game sadly. I like a lot of things about it, the controls themselves feel really good and I had no problem playing using a PS4 controller. The music, sound design, graphics and theme are all great!. But there are two main issue's I have with the game. The first is that if you exit a level your progress on a level is reset (Except for collectible pretzels) With the Market Town level taking me 210 minutes to complete, doing that in on sitting without turning off the game isn't increasing challenge it's decreasing quality of life for the player. Anyone playing on a laptop/steamdeck and runs out of battery, or has a crash/bug will have to restart the entire level. The second issue is the the NPC pathing, sometimes you'll enter a hallway and there are 3 NPC's going in the same direction, sometimes there are none, sometimes there are 4 going in different directions, it's completely random and they don't follow paths or telegraph when they're going to turn 180 degrees and walk into you, turn to the right or start veering into you on the diagonal. In normal stealth games NPC's follow paths and you can work out when to press forward, hold back or turn, but with this game it's purely random. It got to the point that during the wizard library section on the Market Town map I was running in and hoping the NPC's would be easy to avoid, I used multiple attempts to work out their pattern only to find there wasn't one. I really can't say this game is worth buying, it could be so much better with proper npc pathing and less random chance.
This game made my night when I first played it. I loved the difficulty, the comedy of the goblins and the various characters trying to knock me down. I have no idea how you would play it on a harder difficulty though!
