A really good RPG I quite enjoyed the writing and the gameplay Its more on the comedic side The gameplay is a bit unique and overall enjoyed it Really worth it
I wanted to like this game. I mean, magical girls and Shakespeare? That is a weird combination of things that I would never think to put together. And while it is a short game (per a quick Google search, it takes less than 10 hours to beat), I didn't even last an hour. It felt like the writing was trying too hard to be funny, witty, clever, and other words that mean those same things. I found myself wanting to uninstall it ASAP, which is exactly what I did.
The only JRPG-type that I've been able to bear. Having Shakespeare handle some of the writing really helps

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Lackluster both in the gameplay and dialogues
I quite liked all of Zeboyd's other games, but this one wasn't for me. Too much episodic (read: inconsequential) story with too little gameplay, And compared to other Zeboyd games, the combat felt unimaginative and perfunctory.
I do not say this lightly when I say that this game is one of the most enjoyable I have played in a long time. Even if you aren't a fan of Shakespeare and his works, you should give this game a try. The story kept me engaged, and every character had their own archetype that they played into really well. The combat system is something unique, where instead of relying on mana you have single use abilities that recharge after you defend. I feel like this promotes actual strategizing rather than mindlessly pressing the same button over and over again. Zeboyd has also made sure grinding is no issue. Enemies are visible in the over world, and you can also start combat simply by using the fight command in your menu. The game maintains a reasonable difficulty all the way through. There's no drastic spike in difficulty, and while there were instances where I felt the game was getting too easy, it would blend enemies together in ways that prompted quick thinking and strategizing. The music, as with all other Zeboyd games, is top notch. I'm not normally one that enjoys game Posts that have lyrics, but the singer for most, if not all of the soundtracks in this game has a great voice, and not once did I feel like the music was setting the wrong tone. Also in typical fashion with Zeboyd games, the humor is there. The ability to switch between Shakespearean English and modern slang is one of the features I most appreciated. Overall, while I'm not much of a fan of Shakespeare or magical girls, this game was a blast to play through. Zeboyd is a diamond in the rough when it comes to game studios, and I truly hope one day they get the recognition they deserve.
The Zeboyd games all have great combat mechanisms, very simple, but filled with nuances and tons of room for optimizing. This one is the best of the bunch in that regard. Also has great music. The story and structure are... ehhh, not for me. Some of the jokes were funny, but I just have a really hard time taking any of the characters or stakes seriously--no real investment from me, basically
This is a pretty trash game. Although its cute and unique at the start, it quickly loses its charm. It devolves into an agonizing chore to suffer through, given its repetitiveness and shallow combat. Its not even mercifully short. Even if you like this game you'll be begging for it to end 3/4 of the way through. It just drags on and on and on way longer then it needs to. Random battles are tedious and last a long time especially the later parts of the game. This may be the worst game I have ever played. Do yourself a favor and just play something else.
