I love the idea, but it's a rough test. The unique gun levitation requires mouse and keyboard, and the control scheme is a big issue for me. You can't scroll through weapons, they all require manual reloads, and everything has to be done swiftly because enemies will aimbot you the first frame they can. The instant death requires X to respawn, which could've just been any input instead. With proper stealth options and levels with more options, this could've been a great power trip, even if short. As it is, it feels like your character is the least powerful person compared to an army of aimbots.
Found this game through the YouTube series a few years ago, leaving a positive review now after nominating it for most innovative gameplay. Cool game, nice work :)

Fantastic top-down action game that doesn't overstay its welcome. Some levels are a little puzzle-y, and others are a slaughterfest of troops being slain by their own dead allies' weaponry. Well worth the price, and the developer already seems intent on creating more games with innovative mechanics like this, so definitely somebody you want to be supporting.
It's alright. For me it felt really easy (I only played on normal difficulty), the guns felt nice and the mechanics seemed polished. But the enemy AI is really bad imo, in the exact millisecond you shoot they immediately fire back (especially the sniper, through a solid concrete wall know your exact location once you fire a single bullet). All levels are easily clearable with my so called "fire-pickup-fire" tactic. Basically you drop a weapon (or pick one up if one is laying around) then drag it close to an enemy, kill them and once the next enemy shoots your weapon to a crisp you pickup the weapon the previous enemy dropped, rince and repeat. The bullethell-esque ending sequence also was kinda meh, dragging the enemy into some blackhole looking things wasn't that fun. Mostly because they have a stronger pull in the opposite direction than your mouse pull. The bossfight after that was pretty cool though. If you just want to pickup a game by Miziziziz, I would recommend Endoparasitic. It's much more fun and enticing as this is.
I came from the youtube videos, great game.
game some ass
unique gameplay mechanic
Dear Miziziziz, Omg i have to say this first i love u man, your the reason i make indie games. I love ur style and your ability to craft worlds and lore along with your attitude your like the Harrison Ford of game developers. But I have seen this game years ago and creation process, and the concept was something that had a lot of potential. The weapons feel so good to shoot and the fact the color changes when you are losing ammo is one of the smartest things I have ever seen in such a obscure indie game. It really shows you have such a great grasp on design, telegraphing to the player in such a creative, visually and of course most importantly in a design way. Along with level design, were I could feel a invisible hand trying to get me to do something a certain way, but for granted, some levels it is a little difficult to see the design, but most of the time, I could see what you intended me to do. Rotoscoping is a style I love and I want to incorporate in a future project, the way you did the texture work makes them stick out amongst the background despite the enemies being a similar color. The design of the main character is slick and easily identifiable. The only negative I have to say is the hover bike section, I felt like it was very difficult , but I could just suck idk. All and all, it's a awesome game with a lot of effort and great design put into it. My question for you is miziziziz, since you have come a long way now and you've gotten better with programing, design, art etc, would you revisit this game? Try and link the lore and world with Wrought Flesh? Would you make a sequel to this that you use the knowledge from the previous game to make a improved sequel? Idk. please check it out - John XOXO
