About
A small adventure with a big story. Theropods takes around 2-3 hours to finish. Perfect for an afternoon or a relaxed weekend.
Wordless point-and-click adventure — no dialogue, no subtitles, just animation, sound, and visual storytelling.
An unlikely friendship in a hostile world — a wordless story of bravery, trust, and survival.
Brains over brawn — outsmart dinosaurs, distract barbarians, and puzzle your way out of deadly situations.
A vivid prehistoric world — trek through jungles, valleys, canyons, caves, and wild dinosaur territory.
Gorgeous hand-drawn pixel art brought to life with cinematic frame-by-frame animation.
An immersive soundtrack blending tribal rhythms with eerie sci-fi synthesizers.
A glowing stone crashes from the sky into a young hunter’s village. Its arrival draws a bloodthirsty tribe, who attack the settlement and enslave her people.
Barely escaping into the jungle, she discovers the stone’s true origin: a stranded spaceman whose damaged pod depends on it.
Together, this unlikely pair must cross dinosaur-infested lands to free her tribe and find a way to send him home.
Theropods is a classic point-and-click adventure built around visual logic. Watch how characters move, how creatures behave, and how each scene changes as you poke, prod, and experiment.
Instead of fighting your way through danger, you solve your way through it — distracting predators, avoiding enemies, triggering reactions, and finding clever ways past situations too dangerous to face head-on.
Theropods replaces dialogue trees, long conversations, and text walls with gestures, expressions, sound, and visual storytelling. The story unfolds through action: what characters do, what they notice, and what changes around them.
With no subtitles or text-heavy exposition to translate, the adventure is built to be understood by players anywhere in the world.

Reviews
Theropods is a wordless point-and-click adventure where a young hunter sets out to save her people after her village is attacked by a hostile tribe. Dinosaurs, prehistoric survival, and a stranded spaceman somehow end up sharing the same adventure, with the entire story told through animation, sound, and character reactions rather than dialogue. Pros ✔️ The pixel art and animation are fantastic - It immediately gave me that classic point-and-click feeling I love, but the amount of expression they get out of these characters gives it plenty of its own personality. ✔️ The wordless storytelling works REALLY well - Gestures, little vocalizations, animation, and sound tell you what the characters are thinking without needing dialogue boxes. I never felt like I was missing what the story was trying to say. ✔️ The puzzles actually make sense - Most solutions clicked with how my brain approaches point-and-click games. Even when I got stuck, I usually felt like I could look around and work it out rather than start combining random items and praying. Cons ❌ The Help button can make things a little too easy - Highlighting everything interactable is great for accessibility, but it can also remove a lot of the searching from the puzzles if you rely on it. ❌ Some interactions are VERY particular about where you click - There were times I knew exactly what I needed to interact with but had to keep clicking around until I found the specific spot the game wanted. ❌ I wanted more game - My full playthrough was only a little over two hours. I can understand someone questioning the price based on that, but for me the bigger problem was that I was not ready for it to be over. Conclusion I already have a soft spot for old-school point-and-click games, especially things like Day of the Tentacle, so Theropods had a pretty good chance with me. What I did not expect was to sit down intending to just give it a quick play and end up finishing the entire thing. It became my favourite game I played that night, and if Lost Token makes another adventure at this quality, I already want to see what they do next. Score 9/10 Glowing Stones - I only meant to visit this strange little prehistoric world, but I wasn't leaving until I saw everyone make it home.

Very cute! Short and sweet, and not difficult. I found the story engaging. Some of the puzzles were a wee bit annoying, but not to the point I had to look up how to beat it. Music and atmosphere were great, and the art was gorgeous. At a discount price, totally worth it!

Gorgeous pixel art, great music and not overly long. Absolutely recommended.
Cute, simple and short. Maybe a little too simple. I enjoyed it.
[beta tester for game] Lovely point and click adventure with no dialogue. The characters are cave people, so communication is only by gesture. Fight a hostile tribe and survive dinosaurs to save your people. Gameplay is via object puzzles, using your surroundings. Instead of exploring a map, you move between episodes, with all objects needed available at each one (you can't get softlocked). Highly recommended!
Amazing classic and nostalgic point and click adventure. Really enjoyed the (visual) story telling. sometimes the puzzles were a bit cryptic tho.
Theropods is a great little graphic adventure. It´s not perfect, some of the puzzles are kinda obscure, and end up defaulting to trial and error (something to be expected for the mere fact of not having dialogue). But that´s still secondary to how visually beautiful it is, and the music is fantastic. It´s clearly a labor of love, and an enjoyable trip for any fan of point and click adventures.
