Cool isometric twin-stick shooter with a fun theme/premise and surprisingly deep gameplay (cover mechanics, stamina, dodge-roll, wind affects bullets, etc.). Current Beta and Alpha campaigns offer a good mix of challenge and fun. I've only played solo and two player coop so far but enjoyed both. There are a few levels that I died a lot on but with some unit upgrades and a change of tactics I was(/we were) able to pass them after a few more attempts. Having a T-Rex with an uzi definitely helped on one occasion. Will be checking back to see what other content and customization is added before this title leaves early access!
It is a very good game so far, especially since it is still being worked on. Here are the things that are bad about it: 1. The music is perhaps a bit repetitive. 2. There isn't a clear tutorial, but you can pretty easily figure things out by your self. 3. Once you get far enough, it is very hard, but maybe I'm not very good at it. Overall it is a good bake.
This game is pretty fun. This game reminds me a lot of Running with Rifles
It's very fun in the earlier levels, you take control of your units, and through a back and forth struggle against the enemy, you eventually end up victorious. My problem is that about half of the shots you make are reduced to you praying that it even hits the enemy. They're reduced to rng rather than actual skill in aiming, and it feels like that more often than not, the enemy hits you more than you hit them. This game is really fun, but sometimes it feels unfair.
A okay Game to play in your free time but my eyes are baked after seeing so much white.
Good game, was a lot of fun for me and my friends on the couch. It was definitely more fun with the arcade mode on, the simulation mode isn't really forgiving 😉. The music was really repetitive but leaving it on in the background with a very low volume proved to work for me and my friends.
So far I have really enjoyed the challenge and the aesthetic/music always a brings a smile to my face. It is simple to understand and get into, but difficult to master. It doesn't feel unfair though, just that you really have to learn the game and what it expects from you. Really looking forward to its ongoing development!
The game is very enjoyable, it's very fun and pretty inexpensive the matches can be difficult at times, but as you fight matches some soldiers will become heroic and you can call them in onto future missions enabling you to even the odds. I'd recommend the game.
God this brings back memories. Young and in school and bored and drawing little stick figure wars in my note books. Love it, love the idea and so far the execution is great!
Lots of fun, I got a 126% hit rate on a map where I get to defend a beach from invasion, 10/10 game, absolutely worth the price, now I just need friends so I can play multiplayer
