The Wonderful One: After School Hero

Bros I can't believe I lived long enough to see The Wonderful 101 become a 2-game series I'm not dying or anything I'm just happy

This game was a reward for Kickstarter backers of The Wonderful 101 port, and that's all it feels like. A disappointing bonus. The game basically plays itself. You're given so many health items that it's basically impossible to lose. Even with enemies spawning on top of you and hitboxes taking up the entire screen, you'll never game over. I'd also mention that all enemies outside of bosses are presented in the first quarter of the game, but since the game is so short I guess that's not the biggest deal. Despite this, the game is quite cathartic since you're blowing a ton of stuff up. However, this catharsis is kind of lost when you and your cursor (mouse and keyboard) tend to get lost in the mess. This only gets you hit a lot more. The story is also kind of pointless. It's a story to fill in the gap between Luca -> Wonder Goggles, but it's really dull and no where near as funny as The Wonderful 101. Really a "Luca has to train in VR" would have sufficed. I wouldn't recommend touching this game even if you were one of the Kickstarter backers.

Got this for free as part of being a Kickstarter backer and I got bored of it in 20 minutes. I definitely wouldn't pay $10 for it.

原作のThe Wonderful 101を持っていたので無料でライブラリに追加されていたのだが面白いかと言われると... [h1]短所[/h1] ・視認性が悪すぎる 画面がゴチャゴチャしていて自分がどこにいるか　敵がどこにいるかがわかりにくい。 画面に散らばるアイテムや敵の破片の演出、自分のレーザーのヒットエフェクトが激しく何をやっているのかわからなくなる。 UIに自分のキャラが被っても透過処理等はされず、市民の上に表示される「HELP!」もやたらデカいし敵に平然と被る。 ・操作性が良くない パッドの右スティックで狙いを付ける＋射撃のゲームなので射撃しながらABXY □〇×△　を押すのは難しい。 にも拘らずこのゲームではジャンプかダッシュの重要な動作のうちどちらかはAボタンに設定しなければならない。 前の武器選択がLトリガー　次の武器選択がRトリガーという割とどうでもいい操作のうちどちらかはABXYに設定できれば、射撃しながら射撃＋ダッシュができる筈なのに何故そうしなかったのか。（しかも武器はたったの3種類なので２つもボタン使う必要はないだろう） ・敵キャラのチョイスが良くない 原作の101は機械的な敵キャラのデザインが非常に気に入っていた。 しかし本作に登場するのは原作の再序盤の雑魚ばかりで後半の格好いい敵が登場しない。 更にラスボスは既存のボスに既存の雑魚を合体させただけという酷さ。 しかも、ラスボス戦の直前に何の伏線も無いのに主人公が「そうか、奴は〇〇だったんだ」と勝手に納得するご都合主義展開で萎える。 [h1]長所[/h1] ・オンラインランキングがある 自分がクリアした時点では5人しか登録していなかったのでランカーは今がチャンス。 ・反射レーザーは面白い 敵の射線外から一方的に攻撃したり、貫通性能がある事を利用して1度の射撃で２ヒットを狙える。 ・プレイ時間が短い [h1]総評[/h1] 原作はWii Uでリリースしたので殆ど売れなかったのにリマスター版のDLC等を出してくれているのは本当に有難いのだが、原作が面白かっただけに残念な部分が目立つ。 もう一度言うが101の方は本当に面白いのでそちらを買いましょう。
