About
Welcome to The Wilds of Dacrima: Field Notes from a Poorly Supervised Alchemist and his Unruly Robot Companion, a first-person fantasy adventure puzzler about the blazing pursuit of alchemy and friendship.
A plague known as 'The Great Rot' has ravaged all things living. It's up to you, legendary Alchemist Professor Edric Tayte, to discover a cure.
Alongside your sidekick robot, venture through the weird and wonderful world of Dacrima, collect its fabled flora and fauna, and brew a roster of potent Potions. With each new ability gained, explore the deepest depths of the forest, with plenty of secrets to find along the way...
Forage Through The Wilds of Dacrima
Explore enchanting landscapes rich in resources: absurd animals, peculiar plants, and miraculous minerals. Scan your discoveries to unlock lore, potion details, and piece together the mystery of the forest. Uncover ways to traverse obstacles, gain access to new areas, and complete quests along the way!
Brew New Abilities
You are an alchemist after all, combine the wondrous ingredients you find throughout The Wilds of Dacrima to brew new Potions (and hopefully a cure for that blasted Great Rot).
With each Potion unlocked, you gain new abilities and discover new ways of venturing through the Wilds.
Jump On Your Sidekick's Head
Exploring is hard work when you’re approaching 70. Your robot companion L-P1N is your travel guide, best friend, and very own placeable platform.
L-P1N is the stowaway you never knew you needed. A tool in Edric’s arsenal, who may just become a friend, your confidant, and the one thing in this place that isn’t trying to kill you (maybe).
A Whacky Adventure
Strap in for this turbulent ride through the dark corners, bright sunlight, and unlikely humour.
Enjoy the world, puzzles, and mysteries of The Wilds of Dacrima: Field Notes from a Poorly Supervised Alchemist and his Unruly Robot Companion!

I don't write often comments, but this game is really fun and the puzzle are well made. The puzzle are not the hardest but not too easy either. The characters are fun and the story is original. One of the best exploration puzzle game since Relicta.
Cute enjoyable story ~ I found it by chance thanks to an Instagram ad and don't regret taking it, I love puzzle games with nice environments, if they feel cozy but with a nice style and story, even better.
The game is pretty much amazing, definitelly delivers what it promised. While I hoped a more alchemy focused game, this one is still amazing. However the key bindings cannot be modified (I want the L-PIN and Potion mouse clicks to be swapped), as after modifying the mouse key settings the game just deletes the imputs altogether. Other than that, pretty amazing
Game if fun and graphics are awesome, but the game is bugged. Cant get passed ruby ruby quest which is needed to progress. Played maybe 1/3 of the game before i was forced to quit because of bug.
The game itself is good and I love it! I was experiencing a lot of crashes, but I'm not sure if that was something with my own setup or a conflict with OBS.
I haven’t had the opportunity to play much but so far the game looks, plays and feels fantastic. Everything has so much character and charm and the puzzles are just the right amount of challenging for someone like me. Can’t wait to spend more time exploring through the world and following the story through to the end.
Mostly, really like it. That said: The game should be a bit better structured, to only let you into the challenges you can do. Showing the skills needed is a plus. But I jumped into the Pit with only 2/3 needed. And I only got out by spam-jumping and some very iffy jumps. Otherwise I would have been stuck there with no way to continue. Voice acting is great. Fun characters. Controls pretty smooth. Jumping puzzles very forgiving.
Nice little journey of two curious souls doing science and puzzles. Some repeating voicelines, bit too much camera wobble for my taste, a desire for larger text accessibility, and other such general improvements aside, 'twas good fun and hit a solid sweet spot of a solid experience and wanting just a bit more.
