The Whispering Valley

I enjoyed this game! The game has a solid story line, but if you're an impatient person, it can be daunting figuring out some of the puzzles. The atmosphere was beautiful and the little jump scares here and there were well done. I also got to pet a dog and a cat, so everything is awesome after that.

Velmi příjemná atmosferická hra. Líbila se mi grafika, zvuky i příběh. Oproti předchozí hře The Whisperer, byl příběh srozumitelnější, komplexnější a hra má výrazně delší herní dobu (cca 5-7h). Tošku nepříjemné je pro mě "hledání" kam se dá jít. Je potřeba ukázat na správné místo, aby se ukazatel myši změnil. Takže při každém posunu je potřeba důkladně "prozkoumat místo". Dále u procházení mezi lokacemi poměrně trvá loadování. Možná by ve hře mohla být mapa pro přímý přechod do libovolné lokace.

Une belle suite après Le Murmureur. C'était agréable de revoir des éléments du premier opus. L'ambiance sonore est au rendez-vous. Le seul bémol reste le puzzle du piano. Impossible de comprendre. J'ai dû aller sur le net. Hâte de tester vos prochains jeux !

Jeu "point et click" sympathique avec de beaux graphismes. Il y a quelques énigmes tirées par les cheveux, par exemple : comment savoir sur quelles touches du piano jouer pour faire tomber la clé ??? Il fallait aussi deviner pour mettre le papier avec les lettres de l'alphabet sur la bouteille d'arsenic ! Bref, je recommande malgré tout, j'ai passé un bon moment.

The setting is great!! It's not often that we have a game set in Quebec. The graphics and sound design are good. What really stood out to me was the unsettling atmosphere. I was always waiting for a jump scare. The story unfolds at a good pace. The dev was able to capture the vibe of older point and click games. The puzzles weren't too hard. Only one gave me an issue, I had a hard time finding the needed item. Unfortunately I had a few crashes at loading screens. Gameplay wise my only gripe is the matches mechanic. There were times where I was stuck somewhere in the pitch black, spamming F to try and get the match lit. Maybe the dev did that to add tension but I found it frustrating. The matches should light every time or we should have the candle from the beginning. All in all, I really enjoyed this game. It is worth the money. I wish the Dev success in their future titles.

"Suite" du Murmureur. Le jeu est un peu plus abouti dans ses énigmes. Il est vrai que leur enchaînement est plutôt logique, il n'y a pas réellement de casse-tête sauf peut être pour le piano. Pour les Screamophobes, un endroit dans le jeu est susceptible de faire sursauter.

Ne pouvant pas inverser l'axe Y, j'ai du me résigner à arrêter. Je n'ai donc pas été très loin, c'est peut être un super jeu ou non. J'ai quand même testé le tout début du village, je n'ai guère été conquis.

J'ai ben aimé le jeu. Y'a des casse-têtes qui ont été difficiles à trouver sans guide, mais sinon l'atmosphère est cool, le voice acting était génial en français.
