This is honestly one of my favorite VR games to date. When it first came out I didn't expect it to be anything but a ghost hunting game. With all the new and future updates it makes this game better and better! I could write a book but you definitely have to experience this game for yourself!
I genuinely enjoyed this game! There are definitely some improvements that need to happen, but it's a new game and those will come with time. Myself and my community had a blast though and I look forward to playing more! https://linktr.ee/TheShanaLeigh
Okay. If you've played Phasmophobia, Forewarned, or Devour, YOU MUST PLAY THIS!!! The last two updates have perfected this game. Forget the previous reviews. It's UPDATED. This game is NUTZ!! The Devs are adding content,fixes and updates so its LIVE!. It also has its own flare to it. Its not like any of the rest except it will scare the crap out of you especially if your in VR!!! It has two modes and both have their own vibe and difficulty. I don't wanna give away spoilers so Ill just say "If you see your friend in the game but it doesn't quite look like your friend, SHOOT or RUN!! Yes. Another must have horror coop. Let's GO!!

Wow, I don't usually do well with scary games but that was a lot of fun. The sounds and ambiance are very effective. Can't wait to try it with some friends. I recommend it!
So me and my friends have played this game a few times already and loved it. The game gets better with each update that comes along and has been greatly improved since the game first released. The creepiness in this game gets more intense as time goes on. For the best experience, you should play this in VR.
I was lucky enough to be one of the first pre-alpha testers of this game, and for something that had a quite rocky start, Somni 1.2.0 has absolutely blown me away, and it'll only get even better from this point onwards. The paranormal side of this game is simply breathtaking, it can smash through doors, drag you from under beds, possess you and have your pants down when it knows where you are, the AI is now clever, it knows where you were before, it knows which way you're roughly running and it'll start sweeping through the area, checking. This has the potential to be a Phasmophobia KILLER, the current two maps are beautiful, and how you deal with the entity is incredible, it genuinely puts you on edge the same way Phasmophobida does, but with added "need for survival?" and more intensity All Somni needs, are new maps, the tools to be polished up and more spookiness (there is some, but I don't want to spoil it, because it's that good!) From Somni 1.2.0 onwards, THIS is a solid 8/10 - Just wait for them to add customisation, maps, and different ways to build tension and it'll be the 10/10 Phasmo killer I'm predicting it to be. I've been playing it on a Valve Index, with my friends in Desktop mode, with only one bug when being possed (which the dev jumped in-stream and told me it was being fixed!) Buy it now, enjoy it now and relish in future updates! IT'S GONNA BE A BELTER!

People always hear paranormal investigation, and they automatically think, oh! Phasmophobia.... WRONG! its not only finding what type of entity is trying to kill you or you're friends. you must also go around the map to find the items you need to destroy it. I don't want to spoil everything, you have to play the game and see for yourself! This game is pretty amazing. Recommend playing it with friends I do have one question though... Do you know the Buffalo Dance?
SOMNI is incredibly fun to play with friends, up to 6 of them at a time as well which is really rare in the multiplayer horror genre! It's at times quite challenging especially when you're just starting out, but it's super rewarding to learn how to deal with the paranormal creatures you're hunting down Sam and Dean Winchester style! If exorcising ghosts and pew-pew-ing Wendigos and Werewolves sounds up your alley, you should give SOMNI a go. Never forget; everybody stops when the buffalo dance. 🐃💃
