Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I see a lot of potential and love in this game, from the story, the puzzles and. voice acting. Things I liked: The voice acting. The atmosphere. It was a tad dark at times for me (even with the lantern/candle), so I just bumped up the atmosphere to max. I don't have the best vision, so extensive darkness I tend to struggle with. The music The story. I was expecting something a little spookier, but I enjoyed what was presented. The puzzles. I do enjoy more complex puzzles, but as this was a more simple game, the intensity of the puzzles matched. Things that could be improved: I play on Mac, and the mouse button press did not often align with the objects, this often made it difficult to interact in general, or combine objects, read notes etc The loading screens were a tad long, and I felt that certain locations were farther away than they needed to be. they could be brought closer, so not as many loading screens are needed The mouse sensitivity was incredibly low. This could be a mac thing still, but I felt I had to move my mouse excessively to see everything. Thank you for making it! It was fun
Jesus Christ this is boring.

Got the game on sale and wasn't sure what to expect but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a short but fun horror/mystery point and click adventure, not jumpscare-y, and I can definitely see the scratches inspiration. It's an interesting and dark story with religious theming, and I found it satisfying putting all the pieces together to figure out what's going on. Most of the horror came from the sounds for me, not in a loud = scary way, just genuinely eerie creaks and good usage of the right sound or silence at the right time. Not too difficult to figure out, I completed the whole thing without using a guide and I don't usually play point and click games like this. I'll also mention the whole game is in french with english subtitles, I didn't mind but some people might not enjoy that. Overall a fun experience, and if you enjoy point and click horror games this is a good one to try.
This is a short horror/mystery point-and-click game with what seems like a very straight-forward story told bit by bit via character interactions and notes, but it doesn't end the way you might expect. I was surprised by the finale, as I thought I had it all figured out by then but this little village is cursed for a reason...and it's certainly a dreadful reason. There are some good puzzles and problem-solving aspects to the game to keep it from being just a walking simulator. Some puzzles are a little obscure, and you may need to look up a guide to figure out just what you're supposed to be doing. For such a short game, it's nice we have some kind of challenge to keep things interesting. The biggest issue with this game is that there is a fair amount of back and forth, and while it's not too annoying sometimes, other times, it feels like it is just padding the game's runtime to make it longer. You can't fast-travel anywhere and some "fetch quests" near the end of the game feel unnecessary. The voice acting is quite good for such a short game, and I do like the fact you can pet the dog and the cat. As for the creature, I never saw it. I guess something is supposed to be out there but I never saw anything. Or maybe I did and thought it was just a normal woodland animal? There were whispers for sure, and I think there were instances where the creature is supposed to be visible in some way. But I never saw it. I wish it had been a little more obvious because I didn't even think a monster was in this game at all until I read other people's reviews. Having missed it entirely is a little bit of a let down. Overall, "The Whispering Valley" is a decent little horror game that is worth a play, especially if you are more interested in story-driven games and puzzle-centric games. I don't think it's worth $12, though, so maybe wait for it to be on sale.
Very enjoyable and short folk horror that doesn't rely on cheap jump scares and doesn't feel the need to drag out its story line. While it's nothing unique, it does have fun and easy game play to figure out what's going on in the village. The puzzles aren't hard and I liked the creepiness of the village and the "What was that?" moments. If you want a short story game, especially around the fall, I recommend this.
It has a really great atmosphere, loaded with authentic Quebecois touches and a sense of pervasive wrongness and dread. It is also saddled with an increasingly tiresome navigation system and FAR TOO MANY loading screens all of which take far too long to load, completely draining the game of tension and fear. The graphics are functional but not exceptional, however they are more than sufficient to do their job and convey objects and people in a more or less accurate way. Note however that the blowing grasses and bushes are positively off the charts in terms of their movement and you'll be looking over your shoulder for a hurricane to explain the ridiculously exaggerated motions of the foliage. The voice acting isn't going to win awards but it is more than competent, so no complaints there! The story is great.....but it does just kinda introduce some elements with very little buildup and the ending just slams into the room out of nowhere like some Koolaid man with not nearly enough narrative support behind it to make it feel anything less than abrupt and rushed. Which is a shame because you get the sense the game is all building to something.......and then it just trips all over itself at the finish line. And some point plots that should really, REALLY be explored and emphasized more are just kinda skimmed over, very much to the detriment of the overall atmosphere. This is essentially a 3-d point and click game and as such it suffers from some of the flaws of many games of the genre (endless backtracking, the 3-d equivalent of pixel ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ {there's a nice sparkle/gleam for really small and out of the way objects but it's not always sufficient}, specific items that only have uses in one circumstance {why can't I use my candle to light a bloody fire, why does it have to be the matches?!}, etc etc), though thankfully there aren't really any galaxy brain solutions........so I guess there's that. I guess if I have to sum it up somehow I would say that The Whispering Valley is good, but flawed. Recommended, and I sure hope their next project avoids some of these pitfalls.
Looks like a low budget game, plays like a low budget game, but it's 10 eur ON SALE. Also the puzzles are not just annoying, they don't really make sense. Overall not bad, but I would pick it up on sale. 5/10 Playtime around 3 hours.
A good game but hard work a lot of small bugs to work around, a couple of crashes and frozen screens but if you have the patience it is worth it.
Yes
Me lembra os tempos áureos do apontar-clicar dos anos 90.
