I really wanted to like this game. I played about five of the routes and couldn't play any more. The protagonist is so spineless that it's infuriating. The story is predictable, and at 200k words, a lot of the text just seems to be there to up the word count or make the game longer. It feels like it goes on forever, even if you've only played for a couple hours. Sometimes the forward skip doesn't even work. If you want something similar but better, watch or play Higurashi. The premise is essentially the same: a male protagonist leaves his small village to move to the city and comes back a couple years later. They both have a lot of slice of life and light hearted scenes, while over all being a really dark game. Both have a yandere love interest and a tomboy love interest. While Higurashi is a lot longer, the first chapter is free on Steam currently and I found it a lot more interesting. Overall, if you're looking for a cheap horror-esque visual novel to add to your library, there's better options. For the less than $2 I paid for it, I didn't have super high expectations, but I was still bored and disappointed.
Maybe Atcchan didn't write to Noelle for two years because she's... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CRAZY!! This VN is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. I played through all the ending, read every line (This at 200k words is the longest VN I've read so far), hoping that there would have been something else, something more going on in this world that Noelle turned into a psychotic killer. No. She's just angry that Atcchan didn't write to her. Then she constantly tells Atcchan that it's his fault she's crazy because he's a liar. Atcchan then agrees that it's his fault and that he's such a bad friend and deserves to die because he's a coward. That's right! Atcchan is so weak-willed that he's OK with dying. Never fighting back, never talking back, just accepting his fate. The ultimate door-mat. If Noelle knew Atcchan was a coward and weak-willed, you think she would have put two-and-two together and have suspected he didn't write to her because he was scared of hurting her feeling. That or Amu would have told Noelle he didn't write to her because he was scared of hurting her feelings. It's just dumb. The worst part is that I wanted to like this. Ebi-Hime usually writes good VNs (Strawberry Vingear, Lily of the Valley). If you've read Asphyxia, this game is basically that with less likeable characters, crappier art and in bad need of an editor to cut out 100k words of useless dialogue. To be fair, this is her 1st novel and they are some well written sections and the art is bad but it's an endearing kind of bad that slowly grows on you. Even so, it's still not worth the slough.

"This is a tale of misplaced love, a tale of a man searching for that misplaced love in all the wrong places, and how he gets his heart ripped out of his chest and stuck in his face so he can watch it slowly stop beating.” The Insane Clown Posse – Toxic Love So what do those lyrics have to do with the game (The way we all go).. Well maybe nothing, or maybe everything. It’s really hard to tell, I just think those lyrics go pretty hard, plus it’s the Insane Clown posse, as a 40+ year old man who lives on the fringes of society as an outcast, unloved, unwanted and treated like a POS, they were my go to band for many years, while I’ve only been to a single concert, I know that I’m truly a Juffalo.. errr a Juggalo.. Maybe some better lyrics would have come from Huey Lewis and the News and the power of love “The power of love is a curious thing, make one man weep and another man sing”. Anyway The Way we all go is sort of a visual novel about love.. The Story – You are Atcchan, a young man who was forced to leave his small town two years ago. Much like the Beverly Hillbillies he was moving on up to the east side and he finally got a piece of that pie… I think. Anyway Atcchan is coming back to his home town for a fun filled 3 day adventure, where he he’s planning on cracking some necks and cashing some checks. He’s gonna be hunting that elusive beaver he missed out on years ago.. Wait a second this isn’t an adult visual novel, scrap that beaver comment. Anyway back to the task at hand Atcchan has some choices to make, some hearts to possibly mend and some wrongs to make right. Can he make all the right choices and heal the harm he’s caused, or will we be able to put him on the mess around and find out chart. Gameplay – it’s the normal visual novel gameplay, you press a button to move the story along, you can make choices throughout the story which will influence the eventual ending. (game has 21 endings to be precise) Pro’s Decent enough story Easy (albeit time consuming) 100% Fairly well written Lots of replay ability (although very repetitive) 10 – 13 hours of content, (lots more if you don’t skip already seen text) Con’s Ultra repetitive A tad bit long winded at times Store page says Gore, but the gore is just a splash screen with red A visual novel with no fap material ugh. Recommendation - The content to price ratio is really good for 5.99 you’re getting easily 8 – 10 hours of content not including the skipping of already seen content which will tack on another couple of hours. You can very easily get 100% for the game, and let’s be honest, most people just want that 100% baybay. The game deals with some pretty heavy issues so if you’re triggered easily maybe you might want to avoid it, BUT, for the most part it’s just fluffy romantic visual novel content. Anyway, buy the game if you want an easy 100%, or just want to spend some time reading a decently written romantic visual novel..
I thought this VN deserved a more detailed review, so if you're interested in others like it, check out my Curator page here: Val's Visual Novels, Anime & Hentai
Style
Art This was a VN made on a budget, sprites and characters are basic in terms of design, backgrounds and stuff used a lot of publicly available resources. But it's done decently, effort was made into making them fit together coherently as a whole, so I've no complaints. Eroge Content This has no eroge content.
Music and sound
As with art mentioned above, uses a lot of publicly available resources. I actually recognised one of the tunes from another VN I recently played, just because it's literally generic teen rock pop used for college/school setting VNs so often.
Story
Basics I'm a writer. I look back at stuff I wrote long ago, and I always try my best to not be too hard on myself. We all start somewhere, and it's only with practice we get better. When I played this, I have to give full credit to the writer, they obviously put a lot more effort into this than I did with a lot of my first few works. I can tell. That said, effort alone doesn't make it great. But that's fine. The MC himself is awkward to the point that it's painful. Again, that's probably a good thing, since it was exactly how the author wanted the MC to be conveyed. The other characters had deep and detailed backstories, but they weren't quite lovable enough to get me invested. The humour was pretty basic, so it didn't get much of a laugh out of me. All these I can forgive. Writing's a craft you polish and improve. But one thing I will point out I definitely didn't like is the large lack of agency I had over the ending of the stories. It fell into that trap of 'do things exactly like this, without knowing anything in advance, or else bad end or ending you didn't expect or like'. I really don't like that.
Gameplay
Very standard VN fare, you get a few key choices, which each lead to an ending. Quite a few endings to be had if you go back and explore a bit more, but I found it hard to just because of how arbitrary some of the first few endings I got were.
Summary
I wanted to give a neutral review, like you can on Curator pages. I wouldn't recommend it based on what it is, but I wanted to reflect in this review I appreciated it as a writer the effort that was put into making it, it wasn't some halfhearted effort thrown together just because. Full credit for that. Hopefully future works reflect on improvements made through experience.

The Way We All Go is a very good visual novel game with a beautiful story. The graphics are nice and the soundtrack is Chill and relaxing... I don't usually play this kind of game but the ebi-hime games are really great!!! I highly recommend it. 💗💗💗
A good Visual Novel game. I recomment it. good Story. a lot of endings. nice scenes. good graphic. good music. nice girls. price is in offer good. all achievements work.
