About
Choose from an ensemble of characters who each have their own unique backstory and playstyles. Pick from the chaotic Archaeologist or the brave Folk Hero initially, but additional content updates will bring at least six new characters and new factions to play with.

Each day - whether you lived or died in your previous excursions - you find yourself summoned magically back to Haven, where a mysterious monolith stands. An old man named Pan protects it, but he seems friendly.
The forest itself shifts and changes over time, as if by a malign will of its own. Use trailheads to travel between clearings in the Forest, but be careful - there’s no way of knowing what dangers might lie in wait for you ahead! The forest’s inhabitants have not taken kindly to your intrusion. You must fight them off if you intend to progress through the forest. But be warned - as time passes, the forest becomes more aware of your presence and will send more enemies to stop you.
The Waking of Haven is a low-click RTS with action rogue-like elements. You play as a champion with a unique set of abilities, but ultimately you can only accomplish success by assembling a squad of troops to fight by your side. These troops can follow simple orders but be careful - they sometimes have a will of their own and will flee if they sense the tide of battle turning against them. This applies to enemies as well, so use that to your advantage!
Each day resets your strength and squad, allowing you to shape your next build in new and interesting ways depending on what you find in the Forest. Invest in Perk Points for your skills, level up your troops, equip them with armaments and acquire powerful artifacts to exploit the natural synergies between your skills, your forces and your items.
After defeating your enemies, remember to look around for resources like wood or iron. These are instrumental in building defenses and upgrades that will make you more likely to succeed in future excursions.
Death is costly. If you want to make it back to Haven with all your resources, you’ll need to find one of many teleportation stones scattered throughout the Forest. Be warned: doing so will alert your enemies to your presence. Prepare for a fight!
Eventually you will stumble upon locations which just might reveal the deep, dark secrets of the ancient gods known as “Sowers.” They each seem to leave behind traces of their essence in the form of six distinct resources. Consider using these resources to gain powerful abilities that can significantly enhance your playstyles.
