OST
★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆ 3.9/10
Sounds
★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 1.4/10
Gameplay
★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 1/10
Graphics
★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 1.8/10
Optimization
★★★★★★★★★★ 10/10
Story
★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 1/10
All Score
★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 1.9/10
Так же хочу Вас пригласить подписаться на меня, как на куратора. с; Завершенные игры на 100%, объективность и информативность! Do not buy it, it's terrible and glitchy. Arrow keys don't work for some reason and yet the character will walk on the spot when you try. I had to guess that clicking would ire the weapon, an odd choice. Within literally 10 seconds of playing I was glitched into a wall and had to restart. Every conversation is poorly written, full of repeating words and comes with giant flashing words at the top of the screen. The character bounces off ceilings and sometimes jumps off walls, but not in a helpful predictable way. Not technically a glitch, but the level restarts after touching a buzz saw, which is irritating as every level is packed with them. The enemies come in giant hordes so it's impossible to avoid gunfire. I've not played such a bad game in YEARS. I'm just glad i spent less than a quid on it.
TVoSF is a 12 stage 2D platformer of poorly spaced enemies, hazards, and bullet hell that's largely a question of patience rather than skill. For a multitude of reasons, do not waste your money on this.
I have great respect for indie devs and the difficulty of trying to do it all yourself, from sprite-work, to story writing, to coding, and so on... but when you see a pattern, you have to call it out: There's nothing fun here. This feels like a cash grab, and rightfully so, when you consider the developer catalog of asset flippy content - the same game with swapped sprites. The platforming here is so amateur, even Kongregate and Newgrounds flash games of yesteryear were more polished. Jump height is impossible to control. The gunplay is button mashing, and the bullet types bear no distinguishable benefits (especially against bosses). Bosses are nothing more than bullet sponges with nigh-unavoidable attacks. You can die from damage, but not before having a visibly empty health bar with an undisclosed amount of remaining health. The story is so bad, that even chatGPT could do better. The fonts are hard to read, and the pixelart looks awful in stretched resolutions. And this all only scratches the surface. TL;DR - steer clear
Achievement Hunters: Reach level 12. Everything is automatic. Not all stages need to collect all coins, so if it doesn't say to do so, race to the exit. You can kill enemies by running into them, but if your health bar is empty you can die. You don't have to beat the last boss: The achievement unlocks simply for reaching the final stage. (Honestly I'm not even sure you can beat the boss, I quit). ~45min to 100%
Thank you to moppelmurks for the donation.

The Valley of Super Flowers is a joke/flower themed 2D retro pixel platformer/shooter where you control a person with a flower for a head who carries a gun around. Jump between platforms, shoot enemies, avoid inexplicable buzzsaw blades rolling along the ground. I have no idea who thought this was a good idea, or what drugs they were on. Terrible joke theme aside, you get ugly pixel graphics (for a game released in 2020!), fixed controls, bad controls (jumping is especially awful) giving a bad look and feel, and they couldn't work out how to make widescreen work so the game displays in pillarboxed 4:3, way beneath acceptable standards for PC gaming today. The price is low, but still too high for a game of such low quality.
The Valley of Super Flowers is a retro-inspired side-scrolling action platformer that fully embraces the spirit of classic arcade gaming while building its own fantasy world around magical flowers, oppressive rulers, and high-speed combat. Developed and published by Anamik Majumdar, the game combines colorful pixel-art visuals, old-school platforming mechanics, fantasy storytelling, and arcade-style action into an experience that feels heavily influenced by classic 2D action games from earlier gaming generations. Rather than attempting to modernize the genre with cinematic storytelling or complex progression systems, the game focuses entirely on fast gameplay, challenging stages, and nostalgic design principles. What initially appears to be a simple indie platformer gradually reveals itself as a surprisingly ambitious passion project filled with charm, creativity, and a genuine appreciation for retro arcade traditions. The story takes place in the mysterious Valley of Super Flowers, a once-beautiful region inhabited by special flowers blessed with supernatural powers. The protagonist, Flowa, grows up within this magical environment and experiences a peaceful childhood before the valley falls into chaos under the rule of a cruel Satanis leader. Over time, the oppressive ruler transforms the valley into a militarized territory where the local flower inhabitants suffer under strict control and violent occupation. While the neighboring lands of Flowaris remain protected under a benevolent ruler, the Valley of Super Flowers becomes isolated and increasingly dangerous. Unable to tolerate the suffering any longer, Flowa joins forces with the Police of Flowaris and embarks on a dangerous mission to infiltrate enemy territory, defeat the oppressive regime, and restore freedom to the valley. The narrative follows a straightforward good-versus-evil structure reminiscent of classic arcade adventures, but its unusual premise involving magical flower beings and militarized fantasy warfare gives the game a surprisingly memorable identity. One of the game’s strongest features is its visual presentation. The Valley of Super Flowers fully commits to retro pixel-art aesthetics, creating a colorful and energetic world filled with vibrant environments, exaggerated visual effects, and expressive enemy designs. Forests, enemy strongholds, underground caves, industrial military installations, and hazardous trap-filled stages all appear throughout the adventure, each maintaining a consistent visual style inspired by classic side-scrolling platformers. Bright projectile effects, colorful explosions, and lively environmental details help make the gameplay visually engaging even during the most chaotic combat sequences. While the graphics naturally lack the complexity and animation polish of larger indie productions, the game succeeds because of its clear artistic direction and nostalgic charm. The world feels handcrafted with affection for retro gaming, and that enthusiasm is visible in nearly every stage. Gameplay revolves around classic side-scrolling action mixed with platforming, shooting mechanics, and exploration. Players guide Flowa through twelve increasingly dangerous stages packed with enemy forces, traps, environmental hazards, and hidden collectibles. Combat is centered around three primary attack styles: laser-based attacks, Flower Converter abilities, and the unique Mind Changer mechanic that allows Flowa to manipulate enemies in unusual ways. This magical combat system gives the game a distinct personality because it avoids relying solely on traditional firearms or generic action mechanics. The abilities feel connected directly to the fantasy setting and reinforce the game’s identity as something more imaginative than a typical military-themed platform shooter. Movement and controls are generally responsive enough to support the game’s fast-paced structure. Running, jumping, attacking, and dodging hazards all feel reasonably smooth once players adapt to the game’s rhythm. Platforming sections become increasingly demanding as the campaign progresses, requiring precise timing and careful movement through traps, moving platforms, spikes, lasers, and enemy formations. The gameplay frequently combines combat and platforming simultaneously, forcing players to remain constantly alert while balancing offensive attacks with defensive positioning. This combination of movement-heavy action and environmental danger captures the feeling of older arcade platformers where survival depended heavily on reflexes and repeated mastery of stage layouts. The level design deserves significant praise for maintaining a strong sense of variety throughout the adventure. Each stage introduces new enemy combinations, hazard layouts, and environmental gimmicks designed to challenge the player in different ways. Some levels focus heavily on platforming precision and navigation through dangerous terrain, while others emphasize aggressive combat against enemy forces and defensive structures. The game also includes collectible items such as ammunition, coins, and health supplies hidden throughout the environments, encouraging players to explore carefully instead of rushing directly toward the exit. This exploration element helps make the stages feel more dynamic and rewards players who take the time to fully engage with each environment. Enemy variety contributes positively to the pacing as well. Standard enemies gradually give way to stronger opponents, environmental defenses, aggressive creatures, and boss encounters that require different strategies and movement patterns to overcome. The three boss fights included throughout the game provide some of the campaign’s most memorable moments because they force players to fully utilize the combat and movement systems under intense pressure. These encounters may not be highly complex mechanically, but they succeed at creating satisfying difficulty spikes that break up the standard stage progression and reinforce the arcade challenge structure. The soundtrack complements the retro arcade atmosphere extremely well. Fast-paced electronic tracks and energetic background music create a constant sense of momentum during platforming sections and combat encounters. Sound effects follow the exaggerated style common in older arcade games, making attacks, explosions, item pickups, and environmental interactions feel impactful and satisfying despite the game’s relatively simple presentation. The audio design overall is not especially sophisticated, but it fits the game’s nostalgic identity perfectly and helps maintain engagement during longer play sessions. For players who enjoy retro-inspired platform shooters, fantasy-themed arcade adventures, and indie games built around classic gameplay principles, The Valley of Super Flowers offers a fun and energetic experience filled with colorful environments, imaginative abilities, and challenging action sequences. Its rough edges, repetitive enemy behavior, and limited polish prevent it from standing among the very best indie platformers in the genre, but the creativity and enthusiasm behind the project still make it memorable. It succeeds as a heartfelt tribute to classic side-scrolling arcade games while adding enough original fantasy concepts to create an identity of its own. Rating: 6/10
INSTALLING NOTHING
Its a very weird game, but very fun side scroller. would recommend for a past time.
A beautiful little game that if your not careful can take hours to complete. Very cheap (was on sale when I got it) and If you are a steam game completionist this game is for you. All achievements are straight forward in getting. A simple find the items on the map or find the exit type game, The end boss was super fun.
