草丛里发现一个usb,我是说,要把这个usb文件的所有东西以各种方式看一眼 文件里面贴心的放了图片,视频,文档编辑器的安装包没绷住
Interesting idea and could be a nice game but in the end you are just reading a word document of someones diary. Would love to see another similar game but it needs something more.
its great fun

《The USB Stick Found in the Grass》,24.11.25入库。 ——24.11.29
No. Just subtitles, bad IRL videos, some strange windows permissions needed to run, sus. No. Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, of which I got plenty from all kinds of bundles, not all though. If you are interested in my journey, check out my other reviews :)
Spiel innerhalb von minuten auf 100% gebracht, paar texte lesen, paar Daten durchwühlen und fertig...
Basically installs a virtual USB stick to your computer where you have to solve the mystery. It's a novel idea but quite weird and scary. You are just taking a leap of faith here that they are not installing any malware on your computer. But interesting overall.
Awful. Great concept- love the idea of actually going through my PC files to find clues was a great lure. But the convoluted nature of finding said clues felt more like work than a game. I play games as a form of escapism- playing as an IT criminologist was a little too real. Abandoned after 30 minutes.
The 'forensic analysis' aspect of this game was what initially caught my attention. It was pretty cool how the game starts by opening an actual "Local Disk" USB window, leaving you with just the files and a mystery. I dove in, analyzing metadata, using file recovery software, hex editors, and other tools, but wound up a little disappointed towards the end. The gameplay mostly boils down to deciphering passwords from diary entries and doesn't utilize much else on the 'USB'. You CAN use other software to find some pretty neat Easter eggs however. There's interesting metadata, recovered images, and documents to decipher, which adds a level of instigative-ness to the game...but none of it is actually used in solving the puzzle. There ending is the weakest part, if you can even call it that. With all the details put into the game, the Devs really missed the mark on creating a satisfying ending. I really wish there had been more of a payoff or conclusion. Overall, the game didn't really live up to being a 'forensic puzzle'. I’d give it a 5/10, worth a try if you find it for cheap.
