Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The Story of The Unknown is about the life of Michael(main character) and through the game you understand a lot about it. The Gameplay is a mixture of some puzzles, some psychological horror elements, platforming and walking sim. The Sound part of the game is well done with the sound effects and the voice actors(Devs family) giving the voices of people that talk in the game. Full Playthrough: https://youtu.be/KGURmavkRxA
Bought on introductory sale since it looked interesting, played through it and returned it. One hour of simple platforming, easy puzzles and minimal story was not worth the $15.

The unknown contains many classic platformer mechanics, making it easy to jump in and start playing. However this game does reward skilled platforming, with many shortcuts to save time when you've kept dying on the same level. This is excellent for people who may want to speedrun this game. This is also a negative sadly. The play time for this game is its downfall. The story and puzzles kept me enraptured in play through the entire game, I did not want to take a break or continue it another day, this manages to tell a story that is interesting, while also mixing in some very unique puzzles and mechanics to keep its allure. However, when a game is this captivating, it feels like a short experience. There are some finer story elements that seem to have taken a backseat to the mechanics and visuals of this game. You can tell the developer put alot of time into making this game look, feel, sound and play like an interactive horror movie. The audio design is some of the best I've come across for an inde game. The lighting is top notch and adds so much to the ambience, and as someone who usually doesn't like horror or platformers, this game definitely kept me playing. Some of the puzzles and obstacles when beaten, give you a very satisfying feeling of achievement. The game is definitely not a walk in the park and you will feel rewarded when you get that "ahaaa" moment, or make a jump just in time. Overall, this game was a 7/10 for me. I was biased to not like this game due to its horror and platforming elements, but the fact that I was so deeply drawn and immersed in the game world is not to be understated. This game grabbed my attention, even if only for a couple hours, and it kept my attention all the way through until the end. Anyone who is into horror, platforming or psychological thrillers should definitely check this out. It is absolutely worth the time invested. Id keep an eye on this developer as well, there is some great groundwork here for more, and I hope to see more titles as the developers grow.
The game is missing an option to be playable at 2k resolution (2560x1440p). This is a pretty specific problem to me, since I'm using a 1440p monitor for gaming. Even with preset launch options through Steam, I'm unable to change it nor with modifying the gamefiles (I was unable to locate them for resolution settings). Also, whenever I hit "Apply" in the game settings (Visuals or Advanced), the changes do not apply, or they do, but if I want to go back to the settings menu to check them, they just automatically switch back to default settings. Edit: In v. 1.0.2 2k support has been added. Thank you dear developers. Also, now I don't have any reason to dislike this game. I really enjoy all sorts of puzzle games - this game is no exeption - and in my opinion, the game's horror atmosphere is on point!
The Unknown is a great first-person platformer with horror elements. The lighting and graphics are outstanding, and the amount of care put into the game’s development is obvious. The puzzles gradually become more challenging as you progress through the story, which takes place in Mike’s mind. It took me about an hour to complete the game, and although it’s short, there’s more content in the works. I definitely recommend that fans of this type of game give it a try.
Most of the game takes place in the puzzle sections. Even these have some nice atmosphere. Eventually I got stuck at a particular puzzle. Can not figure out this one jump. I am intrigued to continue on though. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/-Np6NQYjsZc
Walkthrough video here: https://youtu.be/wrjtr4IMbJ4 The game takes place in the quickly fracturing mind of Michael, and the narrative does an exceptional job of dealing with the problem of trying to suppress your emotions that are negative. Things build up over time, and eventually reach a breaking point. The game handles this tastefully, and I was very impressed with the way it all played out. Gameplay consists of some puzzle platforming in a variety of rooms. It's linear in fashion, but you do have a few areas you can explore to find secrets and robots that you can collect. Attention to detail is important, and if you find yourself stuck(like I did) just take a step back and look around the level. It's almost certain you've overlooked something. There are some timing requirements, but I felt they were pretty generous. There are also a few levels with obstacles that make things a bit difficult, but once again they are relatively easy to navigate once you get the pattern down. Graphically the game looks rather unique and pretty great. Colors are limited, but the detail and lighting really bring it together into a really nicely developed world. Voice acting is quite good, sound effects hit perfectly, and the soundtrack fits the game perfectly. Overall the game will probably take you an hour or less to finish. If I hadn't been stuck for a bit, I think I'd of finished the game in about 45 minutes. The pacing is great, and the time kind of flies by. I don't know that there's a ton of replay value, but it's an experience I'm glad to have had. Definitely recommended.
Very addicting and challenging game, I enjoy the challenge. Every puzzle makes you think a little harder each time. I really felt that i was in Mike's dream, always sitting on the edge of my chair. If you enjoy jump scares and challenging games this is an absolutely must!
The Unknow is a creepy platformer, akin to Portal, if the last one was mixed with Silent Hill or Penumbra. Quite amazing to look at, although, the buttons fail to register at some points, while using a controller. A recommendation for those who enjoy puzzles and the game runs perfectly well on Steam Deck as you can see by pressing the link below: https://youtu.be/eYQrFb2tyqc
Haven't finished it yet but the game is really cool! Very nice amtosphere and music, effects, intriguing story and vibes. Definately would recommend for any puzzle videogame fans.
