My god this is a slow-paced game! Too much scripted talking and not enough gameplay. I don't see how it got as high of a rank as it did. Don't waste your time.

No vienes a salvar al mundo: vienes a negociar con lo que quede del mundo, con una sonrisa cínica y el inventario lleno de chatarra “valiosa”. La propuesta se apoya fuerte en la ficción interactiva: conversas, eliges, intercambias y empujas la historia con elecciones que importan (o al menos te hacen sentir culpable por 5 segundos). El tono es comedia negra con sátira posapocalíptica, y sí: es de esos juegos que se ríen de todo, incluyendo de ti por pensar que “esta vez elegiré bien”. Primera impresión: bonito, caricaturesco, colorido… y cruelmente honesto. Aquí el fin del mundo no se vive con épica, se vive regateando. Si te gustan las aventuras narrativas de apuntar y clic con comedia negra, aquí hay material. Ahora, lo controversial: el juego es más listo que “épico”. Si tú vienes buscando matar zombis como deporte, te vas a frustrar. Esto es más sobre sobrevivir con colmillo, manipular un poquito (o mucho) y aceptar que en el apocalipsis la moral es un lujo… como dormir 8 horas. I was going to give this a positive review, until I made the mistake of trying to get all achievements. With multiple achievements based on pure luck, I wasted far too much time clicking through the repetitive dialogue ultimately without success. When the guides recommend gambling everything, and replaying the entire game to that point if you fail, as being faster... yeah

Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning is one of the weirdest zombie games out there, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it charming. Instead of fighting hordes of zombies yourself, you play as a retired rabbit salesman who manipulates other survivors into doing dangerous tasks for him while he stays safely out of harm’s way. The entire concept feels absurd, but the game fully leans into its dark humor and surprisingly likable characters. Most of the gameplay revolves around dialogue choices, managing conversations, scavenging through other people, and convincing survivors to help you. It’s much more story-focused than action-focused, which gives the game a very different feel compared to most zombie games. The writing is easily the strongest part. The characters are funny, awkward, selfish, and weirdly believable despite being cartoon animals in a zombie apocalypse. A lot of the humor lands surprisingly well, especially during conversations where everyone is clearly trying to take advantage of each other.
