The Talos Principle 2 is a thought-provoking first-person puzzle experience that greatly expands on the first game's philosophical themes and stunning environments with increasingly mind-bending challenges.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beautiful game, runs perfectly and makes me use my brain. Runs really well on the steam deck too. 10/10
A deeper dive into the foundations of reality and our place in it, TP2 makes you think long and hard about the nature of life, the universe and everything and what value it holds when we are no longer in it.
The Talos Principle 2 - the quintessential game to get your lateral thinking juices flowing in the morning. The Talos Principle 2 builds on everything The Talos Principle did well and expands it to, IMO, just the right amount of narrative while getting more creative with puzzles. Yes, it gets repetitive with 'what you have got to do' to further the narrative but, they are all puzzles, and so, you are just going from puzzle to puzzle at the end of the day. As long as you're into puzzles, the game's convenient narrative structure shouldn't really be a bother. All in all, a very fun game while educating the player in the physical, metaphysical, psychological and fantastical origins of the human condition.
Really interesting story backed by good puzzles. The game tackles a lot of interesting perspectives on philosophy, particularly regarding society and progress. Very worth it for that experience. As far as gameplay goes, the puzzles - all 100+ of them in the base campaign - are fun and fairly challenging. I think the game does a good job of pushing you to tutorialize yourself on the new mechanics, as easier puzzles introduce mechanics and skills that become critical for the harder sections. I've got two main things to consider before you pick up the game, although these are entirely subjective. First, there is a lot lot of running around in this game. Each of the 12 main areas are MASSIVE, which in a sense is awesome given that the developers did a great job of designing a beautiful world to explore, but the consequence is that it takes a long time to explore. Finding the hidden "lost" puzzles or a data terminal or perhaps Prometheus' spark can take way too long if you get unlucky and start searching in the wrong place. All that said, it's not too bad when the game has a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful map design, but do consider that progress can be slow. Second, and this ties in to the previous thing, the extra "star" puzzles can be a bit of a chore. In Talos Principle 1, the extra stars typically involved sneaking lasers across multiple puzzles, finding hidden levers/buttons, or exploring the map as thoroughly as possible. In 2, this system is largely the same, and each map even hints you to what you need to do for each star. Overall an improvement for accessibility, but the main issue is that the massive maps make chasing down these secrets take a while; especially the Prometheus Spark challenges where you just find a hidden blue ball and follow it around for a while. All in all a great game, though. Obviously not for everyone, it takes a love for puzzles, but it's a really thoughtfully made experience.
