Excellent Sequel that improves on the puzzles and narrative of the first game. Gorgeous environments and a very poignant story.

Second very good game in the series. Definitely recommend. Compared to the TTP1 the advantages of the sequel are: 1) beautiful and epic sceneries (Anthropic Hills <3) 2) way more developed lore and impression of a vivid community 3) a plethora of new and interesting puzzle mechanics However, there are also a number of drawbacks: 1) it features WAY TOO MUCH WALKING. I do not exaggerate when I say that I spent more time walking around the map than actually solving puzzles. The walking speed is egregiously slow (not sure if anybody has ever willingly used it) and the running speed should have been twice as fast 2) the new puzzle mechanics in each area are barely used in subsequent areas, feeling that the puzzle design was quite restrained and I concur the opinion that I found online that I wish more puzzles were like the segment of puzzles in the endgame. Still very much enjoyable and not too easy though 3) way less interesting optional content (monument puzzles) compared to TTP1's amazing star puzzles An A tier game for me

Very big difference to the 1st part. Very story rich, am a bit annoyed tho when your in game characters call you and then argue about you. 10/10 Definetly worth the price. Still worth even if it was 60€.

I really enjoyed it. The puzzles have just the right amount of challenge to keep it interesting without becoming fustraiting or boring, each building on the last in a fun way. The story side is equally well designed and interesting, and discusses a lot of fun philosophical topics, which is a beautiful match with the puzzle solving. I highly recommend not using any hints or outside help. it doesn't need it!

he Talos Principle 2 is definitely one of those sequels that's actually worth it. The game improves on the first's story, and the puzzles feel fresh rather than recycled. Even if you didn't play the first game, this one is perfectly fine to just pick up and play, it does a good job easing people into its world and themes without leaving them lost. Overall, The Talos Principle 2 (and the first game too) is one of those puzzle games that's just a mustplay if you're into this genre.
