Awesome game
Oh yeah, 100% would recommend so far. For new players I would also recommend "The Talos Principle" (1). Although they do pretty well cover the events of the first extensively, you can't fully appreciate the experience without the first. Update: After finishing the game for the first time, I can honestly say this was totally worth it. Was only slightly disappointed toward the end where it seemed to end almost abruptly, but maybe that one's just me. Great story, highly recommend, will replay.

Amazing game, so much more intense than the first version
