Great game !
I'll begin this with likely what could be a dealbreaker for some. Unlike the first game where you can straight up ignore the entire narrative and just solve puzzles, this game is a lot more narrative focused. It's to the point where it's hard to actually skip through dialogue but you can pretty much just tell characters to go away but there's still forced dialogue and cutscenes. If you do not care for this then do not grab this game. As for those where the above isn't a dealbreaker? This is just the Talos Principle but more. New puzzle elements, more complicated puzzles, and more puzzles that can be sometimes easy to overcomplicate. Hell, the game even completely revised the 'recorder' terminal from the first game and made it where you just swap control with another robot instead of recording a few steps with an absurdly long wait between each just so you can keep up without feeling rushed. While things can still get complicated, this does simplify a puzzle element in a way that feels less overwhelming. All in all, this game isn't bad in the slightest (as of where I'm in the game when I wrote this, about 50% through). There is fun to be had and the characters can be fun if you actively choose to engage with them. Also, you can pet the cat. YOU CAN PET THE CAT. It doesn't really move or react to being pet but you can pet the cat. Note: It's somewhat hidden in the game's city portion that you occasionally return to. Look for the ruins and human artifacts exhibit that is towards the far left when exiting the helipad tower. You'll find the cat eventually on a bench right by a depressed robot who desperately needs a hug.

Beautiful graphics and thoughtful storyline. Challenging set of puzzles.
good game, worth playing. certainly if you liked the first one. let down a fair bit by bad optimisation. just some annoyances that I may be more sensitive to than most, which took me out of it: some of the bonus puzzles were a bit tedious, like, search the map for this one item. sometimes requiring you notice a thin, faint white line, which gets smeared out of existence with the level of upscaling required to run smoothly on steam deck. also, some of the text is a rather on the small side for the deck, or on a TV, requiring me to squint. that wasn't helped by some low contrast colours in the UI.
