It's a pretty short but sweet episode in a lovely point-and-click episodic indie series (with dragons!). This first one is only a short introduction you can even skip if you want to (a summary is shown in the beginning of Ep. 2), but I recommend it nonetheless. After all, nothing beats gameplay, especially if it's good.
The first episode of Doris and the Dragon is the start of a lovely little adventure game. The titular Doris is an old lady who has passed away, and is searching for her husband with help from the admin assistant dragon, Norb. It’s got a sweeter tone than most adventure games, and the voice acting is a great addition. Give it a go if you’re looking for something different that won’t take up too much of your time – at least until the later chapters come out!
I'm not very fond of elders but Doris is really likeable. So is the Dragon. With graphics easy on the eye and the voice acting easy on the ear (I can't shake the feeling I've heard Norb's voice somewhere else already) it's overall a pleasant if short experience. Can't wait for the episode 2, hope it's really going to be out this year.
Even though it is a short game, the dialoge, humor, and charater depth make up for it. I have been waiting for episode two to come out ever since I got this one.
An endearing point n click game. A few puzzles, mixed in with some pretty funny characters makes for a good time. Great bonus: Steam achievements and Card drops. Looking forward to Episode II.
