♥♥♥♥ YOU, SWORDCAR! Anyways, to be serious, simply saying "♥♥♥♥ you, swordcar!" isn't doing much to help anyone, so I do have a real review of my short time with the game. The biggest thing is that I have completed the released story inside of my 0.9 hours of playtime at time of writing, so if this interests you, you're buying into a VERY early access. There's not a lot released with 3 cars, 3 spells, and 2 boss fights. Despite that, the concept is fun and the mechanics seem to be pretty well nailed down. The game is pretty difficult, requiring pretty precise control of your vehicle and the blade(s) attached to it on top of a pretty unique control scheme for a driving game. That unique control scheme is probably the best way I personally think it could have been done for how you're going to be using your swordcar, so get used to it, I guess? Your main means of attack is going to be drifting your car to just narrowly miss the enemy and cut them with your sword... or by ramming them to stab them. There are also spells in the form of a shuriken, uzi, and like 1000 knives, but they require mana to use which you get back by slashing enemies. For the cons, the biggest thing is, again, the lack of content. It took me a little less than an hour to complete the released story mode and I'm admittedly "a casual" when it comes to these sorts of games. There also seems to be only 1 music track, making a pretty good track lose its feeling after about 5-10 minutes. If you're okay with dropping 5 USD on this to see where it goes, I would recommend giving it a try and seeing how you like it.

Abysmal Peakshit, HIGHLY recommend
What a fun game! A car with a sword, attack/dodge/parry mechanics that actually work.
The greatest game I've played all year 10/10 Buy it
SWORD CAR. it's alright actually. the music is the worst thing about this game, feels like a 5 second riff on repeat for 20-30 minutes. the combat was alright, can be a bit difficult to tell what's happening; when you activate blade mode, it can be hard to steer or go where you want. the aesthetics are cool though, the vibes are neat. needs some work and more levels and whatnot, but early access
Short but worth it, very enjoyable. 7/10
Another Caravan Chaos but easier to handle and more enjoyable for me. But my age is a solid reason, I can't defeat even the 1st boss of this game, my reflection and ability to concentrate degraded after staying up late for work.
