[h1]The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe Review[/h1] The Stanley Parable was an absolute delight from start to finish. I played through it alongside a friend over a Discord stream, and for the five hours we spent playing, we genuinely couldn't stop laughing. Half the fun comes from seeing how the Narrator reacts to the increasingly absurd things you decide to do. The Narrator is your unseen companion throughout the game. He constantly comments on your actions, adapting his dialogue based on every choice you make. At one point, I spent nearly twenty minutes hiding in a broom closet across multiple time loops just to see what would happen. The Narrator became progressively more annoyed and eventually sealed the broom closet shut. That's the kind of game this is. It's completely unhinged in the best way possible. Every time you think you've figured it out, the game throws another ridiculous surprise your way. The humour is incredibly witty, and over time you develop this bizarre relationship with the Narrator where you're constantly trying to annoy each other just to hear what he'll say next. The new Ultra Deluxe content that unlocks after finishing the original game was a nice addition, but I don't think it quite reached the same highs. It introduces some genuinely funny ideas, though it started to overstay its welcome towards the end. I still appreciated having more Stanley Parable to play, even if I found the original content stronger overall. I genuinely can't bring myself to leave this game a negative review. Disappointing the Narrator somehow feels worse than forgetting to feed my cat for four hours.

This game is a fantastic choice based adventure with funny and interesting dialogue, masterfully designed surroundings, and beautiful audio. There is so much to do and so many different options to be had, it is truly a great commentary on the nature of decision making and the idea of having choices in a predetermined world, I still have so much to do and already I've had so much fun. The narrator has to be one of the best parts of the game by far.

Bel gioco, la voce del narratore mi rilassa ed è proprio la tipica da narratore il che rende l'esperienza stravagante di the Stanley Parable ancora più gradevole. Per me sono soldi ben spesi, soprattutto la varietà dei finali nel gioco mi piace, anche come un secchio ti cambia tutti quanti i finali. Overall 9/10!

In my experience, The Stanley Parable is truly the game. I adore all the contrasting and different themes throughout it. It is a commentary, it is a game. All your choices change the story on some scale, none of your choices matter. Some parts may be supposed to be taken at face value, some parts have four different levels of meaning. I particularly love the role of the Narrator and his dynamic with Stanley. The narrator is your closest friend and your greatest enemy, he is the funny sidekick and the sad main character, he presumably has knowledge far greater than Stanley, yet simultaneously, with each restart, he continues to know less than Stanley. Some of the endings genuinely made me tear up (especially the Zending where the narrator makes a gut wrenching dialogue, well done to the va Kevan Brighting) and I highly recommend playing it blind. By seeing what you can discover on your own, each piece of unexpected dialogue, content or ending will feel all the more accomplishing. One piece of advice than particularly stood out to me was "Don't make his mistake. Don't cling to the legacy. Let it burn.". I hope some people may find it and take it or interpret it as they want. It's their choice.

This game is really great. The type of game that makes you wonder where and what to do next. It's like a fish bait, in which my curiosity bites the bait in where I explore every nook and cranny of this great game. Would definitely recommend!
