Set in the Roaring '20s, The Sinking City 2 is a survival horror steeped in Lovecraftian dread. Defy an eldritch deity and explore the drowned alleys of Arkham, stalked by the dead, as you weigh one life against an entire city.

About
The Sinking City 2 is a third-person survival horror set in 1920s Arkham. Deliberate, tense, and resource-lean: pressure builds as you push deeper, relief comes in brief refuge, and fear is something you manage. Mind your inventory, take on unnerving puzzles, and double back via unlocked shortcuts for supplies and upgrades.
A Roaring ’20s port city buckling under a supernatural flood. Tide-stained avenues and battered Art Deco. Speakeasies gone dark. Districts feel lived-in and water-worn, with routes by foot and skiff, shortcuts behind collapsed seawalls, and secrets tucked in boarded parlors. You’ll navigate a hospital where science hides its face, a fish market where the merchandise bites back, and descend deep below the city to where eldritch horrors stir.
A ritual gone wrong trapped her soul in the Dreamlands, and now malevolent forces have stolen her body. To rescue the woman you love, you must walk a dangerous path through catastrophe to the source of the flood — her presence always felt, but rarely seen.
The Slither animate the dead. Deep Ones surge from dark water. Shadows bend space and test nerves. Some fights must be met head-on; others demand a retreat to rearm, retune your build, and return better prepared. Or take on an optional investigation and come back with an upgraded gun.
Exploration is the key to survival. Read ritual residues, sift through grisly clues, decode journals that shouldn’t exist, and pry at masks that won’t come off. Optional cases never gate progress — but they unlock safer routes, hard supplies, and upgrades that change how you endure the next encounter.
The Sinking City 2 draws on Frogwares’ detective roots to deliver survival horror that runs deep and hits hard. Shaped by studio obsession and community feedback, it’s a faithful Lovecraft experience: myths made manifest, and the inconceivable fear that results.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Great visuals, atmosphere and a fantastic world. Level design is really great. Gameplay is good but combat could be more refined. A very good survival horror game from start to finish 8/10
First of all, it is a good quality game. It is pleasent to play, shoot, solve puzzles. I replayed 3 times, just because there were features that motivate you to do it again. Great atmosphere, as always, Frogwares are very skillfull at creating the imersion. Optimization is also on a decent level. Different genre makes it impossible to compare it to the previous part. Great thing is that many answers about previous adventure were provided in the new one. I enjoyed it and recommend to everyone. I would like to wish that in the third chapter the new combat system will be combined with the open world exploration. That would be just epic. Thank you Frogwares.
I'm giving it a thumbs up but it is really a thumbs in the middle game. Firstly, to make a game this good during one of the worst wars in modern history is a serious achievement in itself. The setting, graphics and overall polish are very strong. But the combat can be rage inducing. The enemies all move at about the same speed as you, so you really dont get much freedom in how to avoid them, other than dodge as they attack you. Reloading, and aiming are painfully slow. Far to many arena battles to pad out time. They put random objects in the battles that you will get stuck on and do not really have any way really of knowing they will be behind you before you run into them (chairs, desks etc). It peaks about mid way through and then outstays its welcome. I love the Frogwares Sherlock Holmes games, they do fantastic detective puzzles. I hated the first sinking city. This sits between those 2 games.
Highly recommend, but I would wait until a sale. Finished both the main game and the Manor DLC in 17 hours, with all side quests and items completed, so my biggest gripe is that I wish this game was longer. If you just finished Resident Evil and need more of that fix, this game is for you.
Absolutely loved the first Sinking City game, and I even bought the Remastered version just to support Frogwares after the digsusting takeover Nacon tried to do. However, Sinking City 2 takes all the good things from the 1st game and throws it out the window. The combat is insanely junky, the inventory system is just abysmal, this guy is running around with the smallest backpack known to mankind. Just the fact that Quest items takes invetory space is just beyond me. The game also runs on UE5 which you already know will run like as s. I'd love to recommend it but honestly it's so lackluster currently.
