Good old first Sims. But boy did they age... If you've never played these back in the days - don't even start. There are newer parts for a reason. However if you want a moment of nostalgia or you want to close some gestalt and do what you never could do before - go ahead, it the same good old Sims.

Where it all started. Play the game if you're in it for the nostalgia or want to see the beginnings of the series. Its difficulty is pretty dang difficult compared to the future entries and unless you are good at micromanaging every little action, your sims will struggle,

I only have about 15 minutes of playtime so far, but I'm already enjoying it. I've never played the original Sims before, so this is my first experience with it. Even so, I can already see why so many people have such strong nostalgia for this game. There's a unique charm to it that still shines through all these years later, and it's been fun experiencing where the series began. Looking forward to putting more hours into it!

This is a perfect port for modern windows. All the old cheat codes work and Ive had no issues installing old mod items. If you grew up playing this, you'll like it. It works exactly how it should. Side note, If you have a 1920x1080 monitor the hud may look small, but dont fear this is easily fixed! Change your in-game settings to 1366x768 (16:9) to get the hud to be the proper size.

The Sims is a cult classic game The Sims is a cult classic game that has been brought back to life for modern hardware. It's a game worth playing at least once to experience where the Sims series began to evolve. 10/10 Must Play! I recommend buying it at a discount.

Overall the Sims 1 feels like a game of its time, 1999 at its best. Rollercoaster Tycoon, Sims, SimCity 3000 all classics, definitely worth a play if you wanna experience a good game, or even just the original Sims experience! Don't expect it to be as expanded as the Sims 4, hell its not even close to as expanded as the Sims 2, but it does a lot for what it is.

This was my one of my all-time favourite childhood games. My partner got this as a surprise for me. I remember sitiing as a kid well into my teen years, playing these games for hours on end. My mom would wake up around 2 AM and wonder if she saw me awake (SHE DID NOT - because I hid hehe). Anyway, this brings such a great throwback. The nostalgic music, especially when you switch into Buy mode. I can't believe after 20 odd years, I get to play these wonderful games again - that sucked all the life out of me for hours on end. I had to get to the shops to always get the latest DLC copy, and would be so excited by the updates. I loved using cheats to make sure my Sims could have the best, but there were some days when I would "try" hard to earn a living. From randomly killing your Sim, to a raccoon invader, to a robber, or dropping into a dead sleep. This collection brings back my most greatest memories and I am so excited to play more.
