The Sims™ 3

EA have ceased support for Steam. Outrageous pricing for a game that is 15+ years old and does not work on modern multi-core CPUs without workarounds. Supposedly EA have patched if purchased through EA store. Just another terrible money grab by EA. Still my favourite Sims, but only purchase on special and if you are happy to do workarounds or unofficial patches.

The game itself is fine, it's sims. I shouldn't have to review the sims if you're looking at 3. Not optimized for modern hardware but you expected that, you're looking at sims 3 and you know EA puts no care into managing their old games. Mods and patches online should get you going. 400 dollars in DLC. 200 dollars during a sale. For a game this old not to have a bundle that gets you the whole roster for 40/20 bucks should be a crime. ♥♥♥♥ you EA.

I love coming back to a game I paid for and put a lot of hours into for it to just refuse to launch from the launcher anymore. EA fix your damn games.

Guess what? The game doesn't launch. By the way, there is no way that they aren't aware of the fact that this game doesn't launch anymore, so by leaving this game available for sale on Steam, they are willfully scamming people out of money. There is no way you are ignorant to this, EA. Either remove the game from the store or fix the game so it launches; otherwise, you're no better than a petty thief in reality, if not legally. ELECTRONIC ARTS IS DELIBERATELY SELLING A PRODUCT THAT CEASED TO FUNCTION! Don't purchase this or anything else from this publisher. They have a bad reputation for a reason, and this is just one example of why.

I bought this game is 2015, and since then I have spent 12,000 hours of my life dedicated to it. good game 10/10

I used to LOVE the sims 4. I read about how TS3 was better. I decided to check it out myself. I was shocked with the open world. the ability to go to the stores and by things, minimal loading screens, adn create a style. I still though TS4 was better. That was until I bought Seasons and Generations. The game was improved by an incredible amount. I then found out about mods, then I downloaded cc worlds, mods, and the game was eons better than 4. The expansions are cheaper, add more, and feel more optional to add than required. Overall this game is so much better than its succesor.

this game was literally my childhood so i was sooo hyped to run it on my pc… just for it to be completely broken ;( like nonstop bugs and hardware issues i went down every reddit rabbit hole trying to fix it and NOTHING worked the whole experience was a letdown so i ended up having to refund it
