The game you know and love. For Windows 10/11. In The Sims 2, you direct your Sims over a lifetime. Give them a long existence, or leave their lives in shambles. Guide their characteristics from one generation to the next.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Sep 15 → 5.43/day in the week after.

Game runs well so far. It doesn't have all the packs that originally came with the Legacy Collection from what I can tell. I still think it's sick that EA is trying to sell a game that came out when I was a literal child with zero upgrades. Still, if you're like me and love the Sims 2 you'll have a good time. Haven't had any issues getting the game to run-so far lol.
Really good game, takes me back to my youth and the details are better than i remember.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sims 2 Pc is a very comfortable game, i once play on my psp and ps 2 that is the sims 2 pets, the sims 2 castaway, the sims 2, so far i remember i always enjoy the possibility on the sims game, this time i try the sims 2 pc and it really change me, i love evrything about sims 2, it gave me those nostalgic vibe on early 2000, i also play sims 3 on ps3 and sims 4 on pc, they all good and has their own charm, but in my valued time i spend my time to reward myself playing the sims 2 Pc. The thing that i like is that -The developer of this game really put their heart and soul, the gameplay of the sims and the small detail on the game is very nice. -Start your own business or building a career is a nice thing to do and you can unlock career awards a -The mechanics of Aspiration and Fear make the gameplay enjoyable because the character has their own personality and you got a chance to get aspiration points for then you can buy from the aspiration shop, its cool. -When you bought this game you unlock all the dlc on the game, (but i quote from the community says that ikea pack and some music is not available on the game) The lack on the game is -When i try to play in a long hour gameplay, the game crash so you need to save frequently so you dont loss your progress (its about 4-5 hour gameplay and just got that crash once, its all good) -You cant visit other neigbor, you can only visit the community lot. -You cant cheat your sims character design completely. The Conclusion, give it a shot and you love more about the game, play wisely so you can be mindful with your time cause its captivating.
The Sims 2 is back. ----------------------- O The Sims 2 está de volta.
wont load any worlds and is bugged completely tried uninstalling and reinstalling, yet it still wont load any help with this would be great as i love this game so much.
nostalgia, imo better than the sims 4, has it's drawbacks, but honestly fun & exciting! i had the CD mostly just base game & university, so i went ahead and bought the PC/Digital Version of it, and honestly i'm glad it has all the packs for $17.99 (was on discount), if you're looking for nostalgia or wanting to play a different version of the sims in the franchise sims 2 is it
