The Seven Keys: Escape Room

I love Escape Games but this one is not in my list of favorites. First, it is really dark (very little light). You have a lantern and fuel but lantern burns bright for a brief period of time and then you are stumbling around in the dark waiting to refuel when lantern is empty. I could not figure out what solving a puzzle did or what pushing a button did (loud sounds but no visible change that I could find in the semi-dark). There are also items to interact with that have no explanation or impact when the 'E' key is pressed. Started a new game to try again from a 'clean' perspective and found that the first puzzle had not reset (solution from prior game still displayed). I am not sure if unknown results were turned 'on' or 'off' - unable to confirm because I never did figure out what the puzzle accomplished. Reinstalled game and the old puzzle solution is still showing. After an hour in the first Hallway, I'm not willing to invest more time trying to get this debugged or figured out.

The game features overly simplistic puzzles, has poor language localization, has annoying music that cannot be disabled without also disabling all game sounds, and utilizes some kind of non-standard screen resizing method that so badly misconfigured my desktop resolution that I had to do a complete reinstall of all graphics drivers. Oof. There are plenty of decent escape room style puzzle games out now; give this one a miss. UPDATE: 5 hours of troubleshooting and driver reinstalls later I have STILL not been able to undo the mess this thing made of my graphics settings, AND it's being flagged by my AV software as a virus threat.

Escape room muy entretenido, tiene un buen precio y para los amantes del género está muy bien. Lo recomiendo. Aún no lo he terminado: ( creo ) que se trata de 7 habitaciones en los que encontrar llaves, resolver puzzles y manejarte a tu antojo por cada habitación. Pros: Facil manejo Precio. Ambiente (no hay sustos ni terror, sólo un ligero ambiente inquietante) No tiene musica ambiental pero si sonidos que te indican que se abre una puerta o un cajón después de la resolución del puzzle) Tiene autosave, solo con la tecla ESc ya puedes salir del juego para regresar más tarde (cuidado!, porque por lo menos en mi caso, y creo que he descargado la última actualización) el autosave no funciona en la primera habitación, pero si en el resto. Los puzzles son aceptables, se sacan, no tiene demasiada dificultad ni tampoco son excesivamente fáciles, incluso en la habitación de los cofres y acertijos puedes buscar la solucion en internet para aquellos que no estamos demasiado relacionados con los riddles en inglés. Contras: la oscuridad. es cierto que en cada nivel tienes o bien una lámpara o velas y encendedor, están a mano y no es dificil encontrarlos, pero sin ellos no se ve casi nada. No hay que preocuparse por recargar la luz porque duran toda la partida de cada habitación. Los puzzles deslizantes. Los detesto. Hasta ahora he encontrado 2. El primero en la segunda habitación, no es dificil pero si te pasa como a mí, te encontrarás que no puedes avanzar si no lo resuelves. El primero es fácil, ....el segundo, me refiero al de la habitación del ático no sé si es dificil o fácil, el problema está en encontrar el patrón de los bloques de madera. Si algún alma caritativa lo saca le agradecía infinito que en discusiones lo cuente. Discusiones: hay poca actividad, algunas pistas .....pero la mayoria de "Por favor ayuda " están sin contestar, vamos, que los que han conseguido resolver el tema se las han pirado, y además no hay mucha participación. Un buen juego, merece la pena por este precio, si alguien necesita pista, pues hasta la habitacion del ático, ya sabeis, a ver si puedo sacarla o si alguien la saca, SOS resumen: está bastante bien, lo disfrutas pero (no sé si habrá puzzles de piano, lo que me faltaba!) solo avisar de los puzzles deslizantes, por lo demás Ok

First and foremost I have played this game after all the bugs and issues were resolved. That said, I highly suggest, no, recommend that everyone who post negative reviews when this game came out to revisit playing. The puzzles were challenging and a hint of horror made game play interesting. There was one puzzle in the first room that was tricky, confusing but that is just me. Certainly not a reason to purchase. Kudos to developers for being so attentive in correcting bugs. I love playing this genre of games and this one definitely did not disappoint.

I liked this game. The puzzels was fun. Some thinking out of the box. It took me under 3 hours to complete and im not a hardcore puzzler. Recommend
