It's an Artifex Mundi game. What do you want? If you've played one, you've played them all. I'm not saying it's bad. I honestly recommend that everybody play at least one AM game. Once you have, you'll know whether you enjoy it. If you did, this is more of the same. Get it and have fun. If you didn't, well... this is more of the same, and you won't enjoy this one either! :P

If you're a fan of this genre and ok with its quirks (almost every puzzle requires you to find a missing piece before you can try to solve the puzzle, hidden object games often use double meanings of words, etc.) then you'll enjoy this game. The character graphics are pretty awful and the voice acting is worse, but the puzzles, though nothing special are fun.

(Played 2x, so that's why the hours are so long. While it's a long game, it isn't that long) A good game if you want more bang for your buck. Very, very long with tons of hard puzzles and HOPA scenes. Wonderfully challenging and fun to play. The only complaint I have is the use of 3D animation because it looks horrible. The game would have been better off in 2D. I don't like 3D HOPAs because companies don't have the money, time, or resources to make 3D look good. But if you are willing to look past the really, really bad graphics and are more in it for the gameplay, then I say go ahead.

I suppose this is a recommendation but just barely. It has been a good while since I've played something so aggressively mediocre. Now that's aggressively mediocre in HOG terms, mind you, not in general gaming terms, which I suppose makes it below average? The story bits are pretty nonsensical, the voice acting is, well, the voice bit is there but the acting must have embezzled the funds and gone to Rio de Janeiro instead. The hidden object scenes and the puzzles are ok but nothing exceptional. I suppose this is ok on a very deep sale or, better yet, as bundle filler, but just be aware that you are getting a bog standard HOG with pretty low quality/cliched connecting narrative. If you like HOGs, this is fine but do not expect anything even remotely approaching a decent point and click adventure.

Les HO c'est un peu une forme de vache à lait pour les éditeurs. C'est trivial à réaliser, il suffit d'un scénario enfantin, quelques dessins dans lesquels on cache des objets par des artifices un peu gros, des puzzles classiques et resservis d'un jeu sur l'autre et roulez jeunesse. J'aime un peu ce type de jeu pour me détendre parfois, mais franchement je me vois mal mettre plus d'un euro par titre. Plus spécifiquement, le jeu est ici court (5-6h max, comme d'hab pour ce type de jeu), sans bande VF (j'ai dit que je voulais me détendre, pas lire des sous-titres, là c'est abusé), et quand on voit ce qui se fait en jeu rétro dans d'autres genres parfois avec plus de 20h de jeu, j'ai fini par trouver cela exagéré même en promo à -80% (2,45 / jeu). Pourtant il y a moyen de faire des choses bien avec par exemple des graphiques 100x plus beaux, des scénarios plus intéressants sans mal, et peut-être des énigmes un peu plus "originales", genre Syberia par exemple. Donc demande de remboursement, et évidemment je ne recommande pas sauf si vraiment vous êtes fan (pour être franc, le genre complet abuse du consommateur, moi j'ai eu ma dose...).
