I bought this game mainly due to the subject matter. Although, they may have took some liberties with the story, it really does follow along quite well with history, for beginners. The game is very short though and I was hoping for more history to be involved with the game. The graphics are pretty standerd of most HOG. The puzzle were excessively easy though, but I actually did enjoy the hidden object scenes as they were a bit more challenging then most HOG's I have played. I can't give this a thumbs up however as it just needed some more story as well as the puzzles were way too easy. As far as the subject matter there is a bit to learn if you haven't read or seen much about Earhart. Otherwise nothing is new news to be sure as I have watched documentaries about the findings on the island in question many years ago but we still haven't had definitive answers yet. I give the game a 5/10 moslty because I'm glad someone did a HOG on an interesting historical person and mystery and also the HOG part of the game was a nice challenge.
nice game.only annoying thing is when you find something what belongs to Amelia ,you instantly get the explanation why it belongs to Amelia, while you want to continue finding items. It's also a nice game for starters.
It's an average hidden object game, not so bad. But i can't recommand it because it's bugged on fullscreen so i had to play in a SMALL window. And it's hard to recognize the objects when they're so small...
A terrible game that is still incredibly buggy when run in fullscreen! The story is practically non-existing. It's not a story about Amelia Earhart's life. It's "find crap that the game tells you belong to Amelia, and do pointless things with it". The mouse pointer is bugged and you end up clicking everywhere in an attempt to hit the target.
Aged very poorly. Low resolution and cursor glitching in fullscreen.
A pretty lackluster HOG. If you are a fan of this genre of games, i promise there are better ones than this. I had frame rate issues with my mouse half the time. I could work with it, but it was annoying.
Came for the dubious retelling of Amelia Earhart's life story, stayed for the immensely hilarious subplot where the main character's creepy AF landlord kept demanding cake.
Ett spel som jag tack och lov köpte billigt. Det var rätt enformigt och tråkigt. Skulle absolut inte rekommendera någon att köpa det, knappt ens på rea.
Amelia Earhart is a hidden object adventure game where you search for Amelia Earhart's final path by solving a bunch of hidden object puzzles. While the premise is okay, the game resolution is very low, it's fixed, and you get widescreen 4:3 stretched which looks really ugly. The mouse pointer bugs out in full screen so it can be hard to click around. Impossible to recommend, there are many other hidden object games on Steam without these problems.
The game has nice 2D graphics inbetween the Hidden Object Scenes, which I wish was the same for the HO. HO scenes are grainy and it's difficult to see objects. In Full-Screen mode the cursor is broken, moving it makes the shadow effect take a while to clear, making it block the image. Playing in the regular window is an eye-strain, my eyes were hurting after I finished the game. Majority of objects are hidden into similar colors.
