About
Ireland, October 29, 1897.
I’ll waste no time, since there’s none for wasting. I write from Blake Manor in Connemara.
Yesterday, a guest went missing – a young woman named Evelyn Deane. The owner and staff carry on as if nothing has happened.
She has not left, of that I am sure.

It is October 29th, 1897, and Private Investigator Declan Ward arrives at Blake Manor to find a missing woman.
What he finds is the Grand Séance and a group of mystics who have gathered from all corners of the world – waiting for All Hallow’s Eve, the night when the veil between worlds is thinnest. The night to tear down the barrier and speak to the dead.

Interview and interrogate your suspects, keep a record of all evidence, motivations, and clues in your journal, and confront them about their motivations when you’re certain of your deductions. Uncover the truth about Blake Manor and the mysterious séance that has brought everyone together.
Navigate Blake Manor's haunted corridors and uncover its secrets as you race against time to save Miss Deane.

Investigate the manor, solve environmental clues and reach the forbidden areas of the hotel…and beyond.
But be careful - each action counts the day down. Be in the right place at the right time to catch critical events pertinent to your investigation. Everyone has their own agendas and schedules – it could truly be a loss to miss out on a quick chat by mistiming your actions. And who knows what hidden secrets lie in wait once you’ve turned in for the night...

Brought to you by the creators of The Darkside Detective and Raw Fury, The Séance of Blake Manor is depicted by a beautiful comic-book art style. Inspired by Irish Mythology and the spiritualist movements of the Victorian era, players are cast into a first-person narrative adventure, blending the supernatural with a classic detective mystery. With its striking cutscenes, compelling narrative and dynamic soundtrack that reacts to the environment around you, Blake Manor and its secrets will leave you on the edge of your seat morning through night.
...I know the West of Ireland might as well be the far side of the world, for its distance from you but there is no one else to turn to.
I hear you are an honourable man, a steadfast investigator. And – perhaps most importantly – godly.
I pray for the girl that this is true...

An amazing game! The overall story got me very hooked from the beginning and I loved every minute of it. So, short review: If you want a spooky gothic story with Irish folklore to completely get immersed in for around 25 hours, play it! That said, this game is not for everybody. I think it comes down to this: If you enjoy really complex mind crunching difficult detective games, you're not gonna find it here. The game implies you're on a tight schedule and that every minute you spend on something matters. This is not true. There's plenty of time to waste and many ways to rewind your mistakes. Also, I'm not great at detective games, but getting the best possible ending in this game was pretty easy. BUT, despite it being pretty easy, DOES NOT mean it's boring! If you are someone who enjoys a great ghost story where it feels like you are deciding the flow of the game, a spooky atmosphere and wants to get immersed for 25 hours, this game is amazing and will not disappoint! From the first minutes of the game, I felt I was in complete control of how I wanted to unravel the story of Blake Manor and its residents. It's a sense of agency I have not felt in games like this for a long time and I loved it. A minor complaint about the game: Sometimes I knew what I wanted to do, but the game didn't allow me to follow up on a certain lead because I didn't find a minor piece of evidence that was not super relevant. This happened a couple of times and I had to consult the wiki to confirm it wasn't a bug.
Really liked this, only wish I could fast travel between locations on the map but that's just my personal preference.
This game is like an immaculately written, beautifully curated, and impeccably acted murder mystery party, where the location itself acts as a character. Blake Manor itself is a vestige of the region's history: it is a manor established by an invading English noble, built on ancient and powerful land, and maintained by the love and labour of Irish people. Underneath the manor house is the story of a more ancient conquest. The actual gameplay is incredibly fun. Keeping time is an important element, and I had to break my habit of clicking through everything I possibly can. Being forced to direct my attention in this way also made the pay off of discoveries that much sweeter. In my opinion, the best part of this story is the characters. I felt so much indignation when I thought I was on the culprit's trail, and so much relief when ruling out my favourite characters. The endings are incredibly satisfying, leaving enough room for me to conjure spin off series in my mind. If you are thinking about buying this game, it is totally worth it! Sending so much gratitude to the writers and devs! <3
J'ai adoré le jeu et les enquetes. On s'attache à chaque personnage et on se bat poour tous les sauver. Dommage que il n'y a pas de traduction francaise au moment où j'y ai joué.
Really fun game! The mechanics and game loop take a while to click but, by when it does click, it's really addictive! This game set the bar up on the detective's game standard!
There are so few games where you are actually being a detective, and this is one of them. The systems are fantastic for helping you piece together what is going on, and the time resource mechanic does a good job balancing a sense of urgency without making you feel rushed, and the voice acting is amazing!
Amazing game! Feels like I'm living in an Agatha Christie novel. The time cost to every action and seemingly endless things to do makes this so unique compared to other detective games because I have to carefully consider every action I make rather than blindly clicking everything. Highly recommend.
The Seance of Blake Manor is a puzzle detective game that unfolds more like a seek and find. I am going to recommend the game because I enjoyed the world, characters, art style, and voice acting. The detective aspect however, left a little to be desired. Most of the game consists of finding the method to access the other guest rooms, searching them and then checking the guest off of a list. The only problem is that most of the information you receive is hand fed to the player to help them connect the dots. The game also has a time mechanic which makes the player feel pressured however, all the mysteries can be solved with a good portion of the time still being left. I will recommend the game however, it is definitely a niche that will not be for everyone.
Incredible detective game. Loved every second of it!
