Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.14/day in the week to Aug 19 → 24.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The year is 1998. A private jet belonging to the Roottree Corporation has crashed. On it were the Roottree Sisters and their parents. Combined, they were worth over a billion dollars.
Now, due to the eccentricities of their great-great-grandfather Elias, their money must be redistributed to the rest of the family. But who's actually a BLOOD RELATIVE? That's where you come in.
Armed only with the power of your mighty dial-up modem, you'll scour for photos, books, articles and other evidence. Then, you'll make connections and deductions based on the family relationships you uncover. With every spot on the tree you fill in correctly, the names and photos left in your possession will have fewer and fewer places to go — but the evidence will also be harder and more obscure to find.
Can you put together the final pieces of the puzzle?

My wife and I really enjoyed this game (we play all out puzzle games together.) It was a wonderful deduction puzzle with lots of nooks and crannies across a simulated internet to explore. We especially liked how the internet here was not a real model of the 1990s internet but instead included synopses of the "pages" you were visiting, summarizing the important parts of the pages you visited or telling you "there's nothing useful here on this page," and sometimes getting downright meta in their commentary (like when the designer waxed about his own personal love of musical theatre.) The ability to clip and store any part of the fake internet text to easily return to it was a super-helpful feature and very well executed, really best-in-class. there are a few SMAL places where the UI could have been improved - like it would have been nice to be able to go to internet entries from the family tree cork-board, and it would have been useful for names on said corkboard to enlarge as you zoom out so you can still see the names of everyone from the wider view. And often the first time you select text doesn't work upon returning to an internet entry that you had left... These are super-minor quibbles, here for the developer if nothing else, but they did not make a significant impact on our overall enjoyment of the game, which was quite high. We also played through the DLC, a whole separate puzzle which builds upon the history of the original games and was also quite interesting and challenging. I know we're super late to having played this - if feels like everyone I now who is into thinky games played this ages ago, but we're glad we got around to playing it. Even though it's relatively new, it's generally considered a classic must-play thinky game and now that we've finally gotten around to it, we don't dispute that classification at all!
