You are a Fan of this? Welcome to THE REVOLT: AWAKENING This Game is a real Blast, that combines Oldschool and modern Elements in an unique way. You, the Hero, survive an Execution in a City, that is under military Control. While searching for a way out, the Resistance contacts and help you. Once arrived there, you get the Chance for Revenge and more. Choose your Weapon and give`em Hell. THE REVOLT: AWAKENING is an action Platform Sidescroller in a fantastic Pixelstyle. You can control your Hero via Joypad or Mouse and Keyboard. Both Controls are fluid and easy to master. After you join the Resistance you will be send on Missions and it is up to you how you master them. It is your Choice of Weapon, your Choice how you proceed, but you can be shure this is no walk on the Pony Ranch. This Game can be sometimes hard as the dark Scenario it represents but it never gets unfair. All can be mastered like in good old Times with enough practice. Learning by dying. And this is exactly what i like. That is the way i did it once with TURRICAN. No, this is no Turrican but it has the same premisses. As i said, pure oldschool. Back to your Hero. This Pixel Rebel can use knives but also Firearms of all kind. And here it comes to another great Oldschool Game called DOGS OF WAR. In DOW you were able to use several Weapons BUT with different Type of Ammunition. No matter how poerfull your Weapon is, it is nothing with the wrong Ammunition. So it is in THE REVOLT: AWAKENING. Have an Eye on your Ammunition or you will have a bad suprise in a fierce fight. And yes, you can also throw grenades. No action Game without them. By the Way, the Areas and how your Hero proceed, reminds another great Oldschool Game called GREEN BERET. Run, jump, crouch, fight! First your Enemys are as always easy but later they become more powerfull and this is the point where you have to decide how you defeat them. Weapon choice is really important. This Game is in early access but for me it feels so completed. A good Action Game with a good story and a great atmospheric Soundtrack. So i´m excited what will be added in the Future. The Revolt starts with an execution, and you are the lone survivor. This Game is not joking around, and you have to run away from the military and fight whenever you can kill a single guy. You start, as always in games like this with nothing then a walkie-talkie telling you to run and a trusty knife to backstab people. You have to choose either to kill everything in a long and exhausting match or you can try to sneak into the sewer and run around the heavy armored guard. Once the introduction is done you can start to do quests and raise your chaos to craft better weapons and items. [h1]Pro[/h1] + Controls excellent + nice art style and effects + unique Item level and forging + a lot of different weapons + Story is impactful + Side and main Quests are excellent + a lot of different enemy types + end boss fights + you can restart at the current map when dying [h1]Contra[/h1] - difficulty spikes sometimes (due to enemy unit spawn) - AI can be easily exploited due platforming - it's not obvious where to go during a mission - You will not be notified if you accomplished a side quest and can end it by the quest giver. [h1]Conclusion/ Who will enjoy the game?[/h1] The Revolt: Awakening offers an interesting rogue like game with an addicting story and a really nice mission system. The platforming is decent and the game controls very smoothly and without any delay. If you can skip the issue, that you can face 4 machine gun units with a sniper to cover them, for me this scenery was always an instant death. You will have a decent game you can pump your time in. So who will enjoy this game? Do you like rogue like games in a modern world theme? Do you like the gameplay and art stile of Olija? Have you liked the gameplay of Skul The Hero slayer? Great game. I like the music, the controls, and I like turtles too!

Super jeu indé ! J'avais pu tester la démo et aider son développement ! Une ambiance sombre, oppressante et dictatoriale bien retranscrite sur fond d'époque WWII ! Beaucoup de loot et une grande liberté dans la ville. Toujours envie de découvrir pleins de choses et visiter plusieurs endroits à la fois ! :D Il me reste à essayer de trouver tous les petits easter eggs et succès ! :P

Tout d'abord c'est le premier jeu où j'ai la chance de faire partie des premiers testeurs, et ce fut une très bonne expérience! Je dois bien être à 80+ heures de jeu (pré-steam), et je ne me lasse toujours pas! <3 En plus de l'histoire intéressante, le farm pour être toujours plus fort est très prenant. Si vous aimez ce style, vous ne le regretterez pas, je voudrais juste avoir plus de temps à accorder aux jeux :D Je le recommande chaudement, l'essayer c'est l'adopter!!

Il y a des bons jeux et des très bons jeux.. puis il y a CE jeu.. Ce petit jeu indé et excellent, j'adore l'ambiance, le gameplay super nerveux, l'ost et la difficulté bien dosé. Go testé ça sérieux ! Franchement les meilleurs 11€ que j'ai dépensé <3

les 1eres heures sont génials, je le recommande!!

Ce jeu est une véritable surprise ! Bien que le principe du jeu puisse paraître simple, il regorge de possibilités et donne envie de jouer encore et encore pour aller plus loin ! Les boss et donjons sont de véritables défis et requièrent d'observer l'environnement ainsi que les attaques ennemies plutôt que de bêtement se jeter dans la face des mobs. La difficulté permet de ressentir une véritable satisfaction personnelle à la fin de chaque étape franchie. Au-delà de la difficulté des niveaux eux-mêmes le système de drop, d'upgrade ainsi que la variété de types d'armes sont chacun très intéressant. Enfin, les stages designs, les pixels art, la bande son et l'histoire sont vraiment top ! Je recommande sincèrement ce jeu !
