great fun with friends!
This game is very refreshing in a world full of wave survivals/ RTS games. This game is a challenge. i love that it combines structure building as well as defense, without being overly complicated. I can equip my soldiers with different weapons to help survive the increasing difficult waves, while utilizing different tactics to win. Resource management is key to production. The game makes you work for the win. while the game has a way to go, the developers are extremely responsive on discord/ steam. The are constantly taking feed back while improving and releasing updates to the game. i would definitely recommend this game and watch how it grows.
I really tried to enjoy it but found it boring after a while. This is not the only game of this style i know of 2 other titles which i will not mention. It does have a foundation but i have to say there needs to be more work put into. The basic use of the UI and what it does for eg. How to assign units to the Number slots. How To build walls around settlements Better animations for combat. Note if you die hit tab and you can respawn at the town hall and continue. I feel it has potential and the current price is perfect for it while it gets worked on and maybe up the price after the game is more enjoyable and has better content.
An awesome RTS game that combines classic real-time strategy controls and gameplay mechanics with all new mechanics like being able to control your hero in third person! The game is still a little rough around the edges but it has a small dev team of just two, however progress is constant and the dev's are dedicated to their work and to their game which will continue to receive support and updates over time. All in all a great game and opportunity to fans of both the rts genre as well as those who enjoy direct control of units such as in mmo or shooter games. The games pricing is also really cheap and is well worth every cent spent on it, though for those of you still unsure of whether to get it there is always steam sales you could wait for though i would urge you to go ahead and just buy the game now.
It's good, can't wait for that UE 5.1 update!
One to keep your eye on.
Still early access for sure. clunky slow controls. The AI how ever has super fast smooth controls and can develop 3-5 times faster. Games that put you against a clock have to have good control to give you a chance. Its always hard to develop as fast as AI but this algorithm is just off. Of course when you spend everyday all day developing a game and are use to the few controls this one has and have super fast game creating computer, the timing probably seems just fine. There are a few comments about the difficultly level and I would listen to those reviews. There are plenty of AAA games with similar game play we have all played for last 20 years, this one is a slightly different take and could be fun but I dont think its ready yet. I could say it has potential and is very challenging at this point, but why? Stronghold and others are more refined, thus making them a fun experience instead of a frustrating or "challenging" game. I have been at home for last two years and have spent more on pc games than in last ten years combined and I just think the big makers keep turning out same old stuff and the new ideas just dont have the large teams with giant budgets to really show us what they can do, so many of these games are more like concepts of what could be a good game if they had millions to develop them IMO. Worth 5 bucks, not worth 1 hour of my time IMO. I dont think you will be missing a gem if you dont try it.
Great concept with tons of potential.
