Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After many years of living the hectic city life, you finally decide to leave everything behind to buy your first lot of land in the country and start a new life, in the quiet, close to nature. However, your skills as a farmer will be put to the test to make your ranch a flourishing business and earn the villagers' respect and esteem.
Take care of animals, grow crops, claim resources, buy new lots of land, and much more. You'll have plenty of space to create the ranch of your dreams.
The Ranchers is for you if you:
Are looking for a farming simulator with sandbox freedom to play your way.
You want a cozy space to unwind, but with enough action to keep things exciting.
Love farm simulator games.
Appreciate a big open world waiting to be explored.
Want to build alone or invite up to three friends to help out.
Find joy in the creative freedom of base-building and home decoration.
Fancy the charm of indie games built on passion.
Grab your trusty hammer and head over to your workbench! Gather basic resources and turn them into useful items such as fences, sprinklers, greenhouses, and much more. Transform your humble home into a thriving ranch!
Managing a ranch can be expensive. Optimize your Ranch's resource consumption, sign water, electricity contracts, or build your water wells, wind turbines, and solar panels and sell your surplus to the village.
A well-tended ranch will produce the high quality crops you need to catch the attention of the villagers, fulfill daily orders, and sell your goods at the local markets for a decent profit to keep things running smoothly.
It wouldn't be a proper ranch without animals! Build barns and coops of all sizes, and invite little (and big) friends to join you. From chickens and bunnies to goats and cows, you can pick your favorites or try to collect at least one of each.
Whether on foot, by bike, in a pickup truck, or in a fancy sports car, there is so much to explore. From markets and fashion boutiques to car dealerships, parks, or even a casino, it’s all waiting for you. But be mindful of the clock! Just like in real life, The Ranchers features both shifting seasons and a daily cycle, meaning you’ll need to plan your errands carefully while the stores are open.
A simple studio-apartment or a multi-story house? It's really up to you. Build your home from scratch and decorate it as you please. Rancher, home builder AND designer? Not too shabby.
Invite up to 3 friends to visit your ranch and enjoy country life together! Farm, build, raise animals, explore the open world, and help each other grow.
Each player has their own ranch and world progression. When you join a friend, you are visiting the host’s world, so ranch and quest progression remain tied to the host’s save.
However, playing as a guest still rewards your own progression: you earn money and Skill Points (XP), and you can bring any items and blueprints in your inventory back to your own ranch.
Play entirely solo, open your ranch to friends, or visit theirs whenever they’re online.
Are you a good citizen or living on the edge? In The Ranchers, actions can have consequences. Destroying, stealing or reckless driving may fall under the police’s radar, so be careful - or simply enjoy the rush of an action-packed getaway!
And once again - remember to join our incredible community on Discord.

I have been following and anxiously awaiting the release of this game for a long time. I am not disappointed! While there are some quirks and bugs, and some features are not yet available, it is to be expected in a game that has just been released and is in early access. However, quirks and all, they do not affect the enjoyment of playing the game. I know the devs are dedicated and can not wait for the updates when the additional features are available.
Hello Simulation lovers, I normally don't speak on games or join many of the servers, but this game is receivng such close minded reviews, that I've come to share some positive energy. Just yesterday, I was talking to My loved one and I said, "I wish simulation game developers would put money and ego to the side to collaborate". Usually simulation games are hyper realistic in looks, but lackluster in actions, usually multiplayer is unheard of or floppy, or you get all the features you want but it's 2D and you cant get past the aesthetics to join it. I admire the developer of the Ranchers as it is the best attempt I've seen so far that has a middle ground. Normally, I play horror/violent games, FPS, or etc and never stream anything cozy, lol. Starsand and Dinkum were the first "cozy" games I actually gave a try and it didn't "keep Me". Games like The Sims (I'm talking rezzing babies on a green plot, Sims 1 player) and Inzoi kept Me for a reasonable amount of time, but that relationship (especially the sims) became strained due to lack of effort and taking modder ideas without credit given to them. I need cozy, but things can go crazy - it keeps it interesting. I need immersion, emotions, interactions - realism. I need to play with friends, but not look at the worst, I can't even see their shoes characters possible. I want to complete missions together, get married if W/we chose, and even have children - often, this isn't possible without sacrificing the updated tech brought to us with Real 3D engines. While this game isn't a "Once Human" or "Inzoi" level of graphics, it's offers a decent multiplayer mode that doesn't feel like just visiting. It offers a little criminal activity and has immersive promise. Considering it's early access, you've done well. I am manifesting that you continue to work on this with a focus on missions, rancher connections, and at some point, enhanced graphics. I appreciate your creative mind, many of U/us including Myself, wouldn't know where to start to make it here. Thank you for starting.

You have to rely on their servers, for a pre-alpha testing, that they charge 20$, for your bug support. The building mechanics are wonky, I hope that's a test building concept. There are a lot of cops.... I'm not sure for what? I mean this game has potential, and just for the record 24hrs of game play was because it didn't close on sleep, because you have to exit the game twice, and then their server?? Steam still counts it as game play if you don't, so be careful if you are testing before a refund??? I probably would of got a refund and waited on this one, which I can't say I do a lot.
I'm not usually the type of person to write reviews after playing a game, but I felt it was a must for this one. I've been waiting for this release for the longest time, and honestly, I would’ve happily waited longer for a more polished experience. Game-breaking bugs? Yes, plenty. Building mechanics? Frustrating, to say the least. Driving system? Annoying and janky af, feels like driving on ice. Plus, stolen vehicles stay stuck even after you hijack them. Audio? Fine until it rains. When it does, you better restart, because the rain noise persists even when it's sunny and it keeps playing in the main menu unless you quit to desktop. Farm animals? Definitely not worth the hassle; they randomly disappear after you pay a hefty price for them. NPCs? Interactions are non-existent, and pathfinding is incredibly dumb for the few missions currently available. Progression? Barebones. At around 15 hours of playtime, you’ve essentially seen everything. Resource gathering? Extremely limited. Once you've cleared the area around the ranch, there's no way to get more resources (especially stone) unless you buy them at city hall. If you're looking for a functional game right now, it is definitely not worth the price tag. It feels more like an early access of the early access. You're not paying for a finished game here, you're investing in what it could become, and the potential is immense. Underneath the messy state it's in, it's still a surprisingly cozy and enjoyable game. If you want to support the devs in reaching that full potential, pick it up, though just go in with realistic expectations...
So far I do like the game, however I think it could be better. You can't remove farm plots which is a pain. I'm using so many water pumps and wind turbines and I make more profit in certain seasons than in others. Trees and rocks don't respawn which is also to be a pain. I feel the land for sale is set to high. If you buy a car and you play alone it's in game time consuming to get both of your cars back to ranch. Driving in game could be better, the cars coming to a sudden stop for no reason has also become a pain. Desperately need a stop light outside main ranch entrance , cars pausing for 1/2 a second isn't long enough to pull out. I had a few animals disappear for no reason, health and food were really good. Advanced water sprinklers take to long to water and don't cover much of an area. I've also had hens get sick for no reason, everything was good on them. Zerkonite is priced to high for just one. I think this game could be so much better if some of these issues were fixed.
Not sure why so many people are having issues with this game. I am having a great time playing it and I think is a fresh look at a farming sim and not some re-skin cookie cutter BS that has been done since Harvest Moon & Stardew Valley. Looking at you Fields of Mistria. -the driving is fun and not wonky imo. Have had no camera issues with it. The car drifts if you go too fast around a turn....like you do in real life....if people are expecting a GTA or beam.ng type of complex driving experience from this your expectations are WAY too high. Also if you don't like the driving, you can take a bike or THE FCKING SUBWAY??? No one is mentioning the in-game subway system. There is also a "skip driving" option if you want to not drive. -Love the cop antics. It isn't something I've seen in a farm sim before. Love stealing from my neighbor and then outrunning the cop drones & cars. You can also purchase your own firearm and use it. -I am so excited to see what other things are going to be added to the game. Hunting is going to be added, as well as a full blown functioning CASINO. Which you can already explore in the game, fully built and fleshed out (just w/o any gambling type games). I can't wait to gambling away all my farming money. I am excited to see where this Monsanto-inspired (iykyk) seed company thing goes, too. Feels like...there is a "good guy" way to run your ranch & make money and a "bad guy" way. -The map is pretty big, but a large chunk of it is still in development. Excited to see how it fills out. -About the multiplayer: If you actually read the description AND their website, it does explicitly state the multiplayer functions as so. So it is working as advertised. Those who are complaining about its functionality clearly did not read the game description. Also, I did try this multiplayer, and it is fun. Your friends can do the same things you can. Just build onto your house so yall can live together instead of in different homes a la Stardew Valley. -About the online connection: I understand how needing to be connected to the internet 100% of the time while playing even single player can be cumbersome. But I did not have the connectivity issues others were experiencing. Not single player or multiplayer. -the game obviously needs some polish; but also remember it is early access and they are very explicit in it being so. The player avatars look a little strange, the dialog has some grammatical errors & typos, and there are some very minor quality of life issues (when using a tool & not hitting anything, it consumes energy). But the devs are super open to feedback. It states in the game description here they really want the community to be involved with its development, and there is even an in-game function to send the devs a message. Have not seen that with any early access games I have played previously (maybe others know of some?) TL:DR: I see the vision the developers are going for and am excited to see where this goes, as it feels like a fresh unique new look on the ever increasing shovelware-flooded farming sim genre. People are too quick to give a bad review when they are having connectivity issues on launch day for an early access game from a small studio or obviously did not read the game description or even look through all the sample photos & videos in the carousel before purchasing. The game obviously needs some work, clear from its status as Early Access, and in my option is still playable in its current state. Give this game a chance before the Mixed reviews kill this game before it can truly shape into something really cool.
Characters creation and driving in this game are still in alpha not good enough for an early access sadly. The game is not worth is price right now max 10$ maybe 15$. I am very disapointed because i was waiting for a long time for EA.
