The Posthumous Investigation

this one was fun! i liked the character writing specifically, all of them have really strong visual designs and characterizations, they do also have multiple layers and flaws like every human does. the game mechanic itself is simple, you have one day to question suspects, follow trails and combine the pieces of a puzzle thats larger than i intially suspected (seriously, how many enemies can one man make? apparently its a lot.) after a while the gameplay loop did get repetitive and i found myself skipping through the same few dialogues just to find or ask the one question i still needed to ask to get the final piece of proof. it doesnt help that some of the suspects are only available to speak to to very short/limited times and you might just lose a whole day if youre not careful with your time management. all in all i would understand if some were to be put off by the more repetitive aspects of this gameplay loop. i still enjoyed my time with the game, especially from a visual / character design perspective. and it was a good time-filler post-shift or whenever i was feeling a little bored. :D
