The Plucky Squire follows the magical adventures of Jot and his friends - storybook characters who discover a three-dimensional world outside the pages of their book.
When the malevolent Humgrump realizes he's the villain of the book - destined to lose his battle against the forces of good for all eternity - he kicks the heroic Jot out of its pages and changes the story forever.
Jot must face challenges, unlike anything he's ever seen if he is to save his friends from Humgrump's dark forces and restore the book's happy ending.

Refreshing game, the appeareance is a bit childish but the story is very touching. I quite liked all the puzzles and combat, nothing overstayed its welcome or became repetitive. The pattern-seeking brain didn't manage to ruin this experience for me because the moment it caught a pattern, something new was introduced. 10/10 if you like a simple but challenging game to drop 10ish hours into. While this is not my thing, achievement-wise I don't think it's hard at all. You can replay sections and quit out when you get the collectible or the achievment, you do not need to play the section in its entirety. That being said, I have not tried the higher difficulties needed to get the 100% as I have no interest in getting all the achievements when playing games.

Super süßes Action-Adventure! Man spürt die Liebe und Kreativität, die hier reingesteckt wurden. Die Referenzen an Kunst, Literatur und Musik machen das Spiel außergewöhnlich gut. Der Switch zwischen 2D- und 3D-Welt sowie das Kampfsystem erinnern an alte The Legend of Zelda-Titel. Absolut liebenswürdig!
That treacherous humpgrump will not take away our childhood
Игра классная и красочная но непонятно для кого сделана. Для взрослых сюжет слишком слабоват подача сказки для детей. Для детей слишком много текста и пустого трепа порой даже взрослому скучно читать, для детей бои с боссами слишком сложные. А так в целом игра 8 из 10

Petite vibe des vieux Zelda. ✅ La ville D'Artia.... ⚠️ Des gens se plaignent de bugs. Je n'ai rien eu du tout. ⚠️ Ce jeu ne s'adresse pas qu'aux enfants ! Pour moi, un gamer chevronné y trouvera son compte. Derrière une apparence enfantine se cache un jeu capable de faire vibrer une corde à tout âge, grâce à une subtilité bien maîtrisée. A truly special game that bucks convention and dares to create a new kind of experience. I genuinely enjoyed my time playing this and was always pleasantly surprised with each new convention that was introduced. Here's hoping that a sequel can be made because games like this don't come around often. Highly recommended!
아트워크가 귀엽고 상호작용 할 것들이 은근 많은편 근데 정가 주고 하기엔 좀 아쉽다 3D로 전환 됐을 때 약간 멀미 나니까 주의하시길
Completado al 100% El juego es entretenido y visualmente tiene cosas muy bonitas, una que otra mecánica interesante, algún minijuego bastante bueno y algunos jefes igual buenos. En sí, el juego es así: una que otra cosa buena y una que otra cosa mala. Por momentos se vuelve aburrido, ya que llega a ser repetitivo y con puzzles tan fáciles que hasta da flojera resolverlos. Otra cosa es que cuando pasaba al modo 3D —mi compu no es muy buena, cabe aclarar— el juego se me hacía más lento, más tosco al atacar y esquivar, y los gráficos se veían pésimos teniéndolos en medio. Pésimo el modo 3D. En cambio, el 2D me encantó, se sentía muy rico jugarlo. En general, la primera run del juego fue buena. Me la pasé bien y disfruté varias cosas. Ahora, la segunda run para completar el juego al 100% fue una patada en los huevos. Tener que ver las cinemáticas larguísimas, los diálogos y todo de nuevo sin poder saltar nada fue muy cansado. Súmale que la historia tampoco era tan buena como para verla 2 veces. En fin, un juego entretenido, cumple y vale la pena por su precio.
