The Perfect Pencil

一款弱战斗、主剧情与解谜的类银，然而个人认为这几者并没有得到很好的融合，比较可惜。 1.角色几乎没有任何性能，而且可以说没有技能，仅有的武技也就堪堪3种，这导致“弱”战斗的体验非常之无聊，从战斗这方面几乎得不到任何正反馈，此乃其一； 2.地图设计一般，你也没法知道这个地图的哪些地方你是没有探索过的，地图一解锁就是一片。而且游戏不支持休息点传送，只能使用特定路线的管道，这就导致地图间的移动非常之麻烦，从跑图探索这方面得不到任何正反馈，此乃其二； 3.游戏存在诸多解谜，根据提示找宝藏也好，从图片中解出密码门也罢，这些都是我很乐意接受的，然而因为上一条的存在，我在面对解谜时会陷入非常诡异的状态：强行打断探图节奏来花费不确定的时间和脑力解谜，或者打上标记择日再走上365里路来探。从解谜这方面很少能得到正反馈，此乃其三； 4.游戏的剧情非常迷惑，我能get到制作者想表达的关于人内心的各种情绪，但是游戏全程都非常谜语人。剧情的引导太浅了，让我觉得制作者并不希望我进入主角的内心世界，我需要游戏在不同的阶段逐渐告诉我现实的真相而不是纯靠自己想。我从剧情这方面只能得到不多的正反馈，此乃其四。顺带一提，我玩过的这个主题的最优秀的游戏是omori（神作无需多言）。 我在游戏前中期知道制作者想要表达的东西后是非常期待的，期待是如何去展现人的自我救赎和对人性的思考。但游戏中大量关于这些的文本没有作用在具体的人上，显得飘渺，且对主角的背景与设定又不肯交代，实在是让人可惜的作品。

I found this game really good! The graphics are beautifully done. Even though it’s a 2D game and I normally prefer 3D ones, I was honestly impressed. It’s incredibly well made, and the story gives you many choices that can change how everything unfolds. Highly recommended!

Ну это шедевр. Приятное отзывчивое управление. Очень хорошая рисовка. Куча секретов, диалогов, разнообразия, юмора, загадок (сложных). Всем метрушникам рекомендую. Жаль по ачивкам гайда нет.

The Perfect Pencil è un gioco che mi ha colpito fin dai primi trailer, soprattutto per la storia, che si mostra subito misteriosa e intrigante. Fin dalle prime ore si capisce che affronta temi importanti e che dietro alla narrativa c’è stato davvero tanto lavoro e tanta cura. È uno di quei giochi che ti fanno venire voglia di fermarti a pensare a quello che stai vivendo, e personalmente sono molto curiosa di scoprire dove andrà a parare andando avanti. È un titolo perfetto per chi ama immergersi nella lore, osservare ogni dettaglio e provare a dare un senso anche alle cose più strane o apparentemente assurde. Ho spesso la sensazione che nulla sia messo lì per caso, e questo rende l’esplorazione e la scoperta ancora più coinvolgenti a mio parere. Il gameplay è impegnativo, ma in modo comunque divertente, non sono un esperta in questo genere di giochi, quindi mi aspettavo sarebbe stato più frustrante, invece mi sto godendo l’esperienza molto più del previsto. Le sfide sono ben bilanciate: ti mettono alla prova senza mai diventare davvero punitive. Le boss fight in particolare, sono una delle parti migliori, perché anche quando perdi hai subito voglia di riprovarci, migliorare e superare l’ostacolo. Anche dal punto di vista artistico il gioco riesce a dire la sua. Lo stile visivo è particolare e diverso dal solito, tanto da renderlo immediatamente riconoscibile. Ambientazioni e personaggi trasmettono molto anche senza bisogno di troppe parole, e tra gli NPC incontrati finora ce ne sono già alcuni che mi sono rimasti impressi. Ho la sensazione che il gioco abbia ancora parecchie sorprese da offrire sotto questo aspetto. In definitiva, The Perfect Pencil è un gioco che consiglio a chi ha voglia di una sfida, di un’esperienza diversa dal solito e di una storia profonda, che in più di un momento riesce anche a riflettere sulla nostra realtà.

So, The Perfect Pencil is more than just a metroidvania game. It looks like it but it delve more than just going into the world by passing through really cool environments, acquiring new capabilities, meet new bosses and stuff. Because then you start reading. Any detail, or I mean, EVERY detail entails sufficiently to get somewhere over the game's lore. It takes you some time to explore, making progress in the story narrative, get all the achievements and so on (thanks to the developers for adding the Map markers into the game so I can just go back from where a piece of a quest was and get smoother to the next one!) but the details. I started asking myself if it was more of a John (the protagonist) story or mine. From ending my first run I took some time to start a new one (a game plus or something would be really appreciated!) to get to the "good" ending. So, I did. It ended that I started to cry once. And all started to make sense an that point. Just to let you know, I got some skill (no joking) to play at this game quite fast (Agni was the best way to progress and practice all the abilities and perspectives) so I just learned right where to go. And still, I was finding new areas and new details even after the 100th hour. So I let a friend of mine taking his steps into it and it was wonderful how we start talking about the lore and the mysteries we could immagine about. Nonetheless, it could take time to complete it. I mean, REALLY complete it. But it was worth any minute. And the second time I cried it was just before the third. Give it a try right now that it's discounted! <3

I played the demo for The Perfect Pencil years ago and had been looking forward to its full release ever since. After finally playing it, I can confidently recommend it—it deserves far more attention than it's getting. It's a metroidvania packed with charm, personality, and creativity. The world feels unique and memorable, with imaginative art direction and enemy designs. The story can be a bit difficult to follow in the early and middle parts of the game, so it requires some patience before everything starts to come together. Once it does, it delivers a meaningful narrative that explores mental health themes in a way that leaves a lasting impression.

战斗手感不好，拿着手绘做幌子，画面一言难尽

一是闪避竟然不能躲敌人攻击？这是正经设计吗？ 一个类银河城游戏，前期还好，到了中期就到处都是密码，解不出密码根本过不了，我玩的是银河城，不是玩的是解谜游戏，不会做游戏就直接做解谜游戏去得了！
