Recommended on a sale. Spent 43 hours in The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, including a final “please let me uninstall this” sprint. It’s a solid RPG: engaging and morally interesting. It plays like Fallout: New Vegas got sent to HR, denied a raise, and coped by becoming sarcastic. The writing’s sharp, the quests are good, and the message is clear: corporations will grind you into paste and sell you back as “Now with 15% more dignity.” The problem: it tells you that message about 700 times. At first it’s funny. Then bleak. Then funny again. Then every terminal, ad, NPC, and vending machine is yelling it at you until you stop reading logs because you already know they say, “Morale is up after we removed lunch.” DLCs are solid. Peril on Gorgon is the standout, great corporate horror vibes. Murder on Eridanos is stylish but feels like a murder mystery taped onto a looter-shooter. The story’s fine, but weirdly the ending slides hit harder than the actual game. It’s like the game saved all its emotional impact for a PowerPoint presentation. Overall: good RPG, not great. Clever, fun, but desperately needs variety in tone. When everything is satire, the only surprise left is how fast you hit uninstall. Final verdict: worth finishing and worth deleting, recommended, but on sale.

As an avid Fallout player I'm really enjoying the Outer Worlds.
I had a good time with The Outer Worlds overall. It’s fun, entertaining, and the characters and different areas are easily the best parts of the game for me. That said, I was a bit disappointed with the exploration. A lot of the time it felt like you were mostly finding the same kind of loot over and over again.. food, ammo, and weapons you’ll probably just sell or break down anyway. Because of that, exploring didn’t feel as rewarding as I hoped it would. But even with that, I still enjoyed the game. The writing, atmosphere, companions, and locations kept me interested enough to keep playing. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely worth playing if you like story driven RPGs with some humor and personality.
It's peak, the second game is also peak such a damn shame we're not getting a third (at least any time soon)

这版跟原版本有什么区别？玩了个开头，好像没发现什么不一样的啊？？是多了两个新任务还是什么？ 更新：BUG很多啊；水岸镇门口的两个企业守卫身体半嵌在地里，无法交互；任务目标直接在我面前消失，任务指引无了，传送一下可解决；敌人消失，原地转一圈又突然刷出来了，举着枪在原地转圈圈，无法攻击也攻击不到我，再原地转一圈他能打到我了我也能打到他了但他还在原地转圈圈；做完水岸镇主线在飞船寝室里拿那个全息面具的时候，直接游戏黑屏了，但是音乐还有，卡住了只能强退游戏。

bad story? sure! lovable companions and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun? absolutely. worth it on sale, worth it for fun. where it misses the mark, it still feels fun and real, despite being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game. i bought it on sale, i love it, and its a fun switch between the fallout and starfield franchises with an easier combat system with more fun for the melee lovers and meat heads alike
