Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

игра крутая
The Other Side Of The Screen, developed and published by VaNyuHa, is a compact but intense horror experience built around the idea of survival as spectacle. It imagines a near-future scenario where technology allows people to be placed into fully immersive virtual environments, not for entertainment in the usual sense, but as participants in deadly scenarios controlled and observed by unseen audiences. This framing gives the game a cold, almost clinical tone, where the player is less a hero and more a subject being tested, watched, and discarded if they fail. The structure revolves around multiple playable characters, each placed in their own scenario with distinct hazards and layouts. This approach gives the game a sense of variety, as each character’s situation feels like a separate challenge rather than a continuation of a single narrative thread. Some scenarios emphasize careful movement and environmental awareness, while others require faster reactions and a willingness to take risks. Completing all of these perspectives is essential to fully understand the experience, and the need to see every path encourages repeated playthroughs. A defining aspect of the game is its unforgiving design. There are no conventional safety nets such as manual saves, and failure often means starting over from the beginning of a scenario. This creates a constant sense of pressure, where even small mistakes carry weight. Every movement feels deliberate, and every encounter has the potential to end a run. For players who enjoy high-stakes gameplay, this can be engaging, as it reinforces the tension and makes success feel earned. At the same time, it can also be frustrating, particularly when progress is lost due to unclear mechanics or unexpected outcomes. Gameplay focuses on exploration and avoidance, with players navigating confined environments filled with threats. The mechanics are simple and easy to grasp, which allows the game to maintain a steady pace without overwhelming the player. However, this simplicity also limits the depth of interaction, and over time, the experience can begin to feel repetitive. Once the initial tension of a scenario fades, the lack of mechanical variety becomes more noticeable, especially during repeated attempts. Where the game excels most is in its atmosphere. It creates a persistent sense of unease through its setting, sound design, and overall tone. The idea of being watched and judged adds an extra layer of discomfort, making the player feel exposed even when nothing immediate is happening. Audio plays a key role in maintaining this tension, with subtle cues and shifts in sound creating anticipation and keeping players on edge. The environments, while not highly detailed, are effective in conveying a sense of isolation and danger. Visually, the game adopts a straightforward style that prioritizes functionality over detail. The environments are distinct enough to support each scenario, but they do not aim for realism or complexity. Instead, the focus remains on clarity, ensuring that players can identify threats and navigate effectively. While the presentation may feel basic compared to larger titles, it aligns with the game’s scope and reinforces its focus on gameplay and atmosphere. There are clear limitations that prevent the game from reaching a broader appeal. The lack of a save system, while thematically consistent, can discourage players who prefer a more forgiving structure. The repetition inherent in restarting scenarios may wear down the sense of tension over time, and the relatively small scale means there is limited content to explore beyond completing each character’s path. Additionally, the narrative, while intriguing in concept, remains somewhat underdeveloped, leaving much of the world’s context open to interpretation. Despite these shortcomings, The Other Side Of The Screen succeeds in delivering a focused and memorable experience within its niche. It does not attempt to compete with more complex or polished horror games, instead relying on its core idea and high-stakes design to create impact. For players who appreciate challenging gameplay and a strong sense of tension, it offers an experience that is both demanding and engaging. In the end, it stands as a distinct indie project that prioritizes atmosphere and risk over accessibility, offering a journey that is as tense as it is unforgiving. Rating: 7/10
