I tried to finish the game to give a fair review but from what I've seen so far is enough to tell how this will ends. The game has many flaws, things that made me want to stop playing it many times and I finally did. First of all, the interface is not good. Whenever there is text, you have to click on the arrow to continue, and when you want to pick up items, the arrow doesn't change, plus there is no sound indicates that you have picked an item even in the hidden objects scenes. The hints only work in the hidden objects scenes, if you got stuck during your exploration, nothing will help you. I also didn't like the perspective of the game, you move forward and the door is there, and when you go back it is still there in front of you. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1968869768 Puzzles must have a skip button, especially if you don't want the players to quit. Not everyone knows how to play on the piano and what those keys are. and the hint doesn't help as usual. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1968870063 The graphics are below average, the whole game reminds me of Lucy games which are supposed to be mobile/tablet games. What I disliked the most there is no information about the items you picked up. You find a key and try to drag it to everything hoping it will work on something, also drag and drop doesn't work with HOGs. When I tried to quit the game through the menu button, it froze on this screen for five minutes. I tried it a couple of times and every time the same thing happens. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1968870120 Pros: +Hidden objects scenes. Cons: -No items information, even in the inventory. -No sounds when you pick up items and the cursor doesn't change. -Average graphics. -Menu button doesn't work, you need to press F4 to quit the game. -Bad interface. -When you pick up items from a drawer, you still can re-visit it even if you don't have to do anything there. -Dragging items randomly to use it, such as keys. -No Skip button for puzzles. -Hints only work on hidden object scenes. I can't recommend this game to anyone, on top of everything I've mentioned, the game also has many typos. I really wanted to like this game. I love eclectic adventure style games but this was not one of them I realise that the developers are working hard to make it better but I think they are not aware of how it seems to those of us used to playing top notch light adventure /hog style games. This is a BAD game. REALLY bad. Items disappear from inventory before even being used , A monster appears and growls but who is it? What is even going on???? It has NO coherent story and no direction or ideas on what to do or anything. The PIANO puzzle...what the???? ugh. AVOID.
I love these types of games but usually the price tag is like 15-20 bucks, which to me is never a good investment...but this right here with the price tag is exactly what this should be at! Explore and find items, I don't know about you guys, but these were some of my first games I ever played as a kid, so it's nice to explore them again as an adult! Thumbs up, good story, challenging puzzles sometimes and a good game all around!
This hidden object game was on sale and even though the ratings are negative I decided to give it a try because I really liked the aesthetics and the story seemed interesting. The story is about a young orphan girl named Sarah. After repeatedly been sent back to the orphanage by her previous 5 parents she finally found her forever home. At first the parents were happy with Sarah, but they started to ignore her when they got a baby of their own. I can't even imagine how hard that must be for an orphan that already felt unwanted by so many people, how could you do that to a child?! The lonely Sarah commits suicide and becomes an evil spirit after her parents secretly buried her in the garden. I finished the game and there was no justice for poor Sarah, apart from a letter that her mother wrote to tell her she loved Sarah and that they in fact did ignore her. The mother also wrote that Sarah didn't understand it, but how could she understand? What a horrible story, it actually pissed me off.... Sarah has been through so much already and you ignored her when you got another child! And Sarah didn't understand? Seems to me the parents didn't understand! The store page is saying “Solve Mind Blowing Puzzles” sadly enough my mind wasn't blown and the puzzles are very easy. You can click the hint button if you get lost, and there isn't a limitation on using it. When you click the wrong place to often you hear a ghost sound and the game gets foggy for a few seconds. There is no timer and there are no real consequences, so the game became very boring. The interface is horrible, moving from room to room is confusing and frustrating. Once I didn't know where to go so I clicked the hint button, apparently straight through the wall was what I had to click. It just doesn't make sense... But on a positive note, unlike other people I haven't come across a single bug!
requested refund, too many bugs can't play. I tried for an hour play time however just as mentioned in other reviews there are just to many things with this game that makes it unplayable. quick list, getting stuck in a scene to move to another but can't. hint button not working which someone mentioned that it only works in the hidden object scenes and if that's the case what's the point. no skip button for mini games. I had to force close the game several times because of the no menu showing up when I went to get to the menu and also when I couldn't get out of one scene to get to another. when I went back in game I was still stuck at this door. if the developer plans on fixing all these things and others that were mentioned it may be a somewhat enjoyable game for some casual play but in this state it's not enjoyable or playable sorry to say. update: I appreciate the developer responding to my review however at the time I received the refund I requested. I would consider changing my review one day if the developer addressed the issues that I and other players mentioned if I come by the the game for free to try again or if I know for sure it's been addressed purchase again to play. until then my review will have to remain. thank you though for responding back in January. ( hadn't seen it back then).
an extremely short HOG that you can finish in 20 minutes. I am not sure if there is a way to like or dislike it... it is just "meh" the hidden object scenes were pretty easy as the searched items kinda stand out... other than that... no complains other than being short. should been cheaper on steam though.. but i got it off a bundle for very cheap sooooo barley a recommendation 5/10
This game could have been better in my honest opinion regards to story, ending was pretty meh. Puzzles weren't too bad to figure out. Finished in just over an hour so ill say it was too short, I'm not saying its overly bad but its not on the top of my HOG's list either If you like simple games like this then go for it but don't expect much
Pros: - cheap Cons: - no penalty for spam clicking - hints rarely work, basically only during HO scenes - graphics not on par with other new HOGs - menu option doesn't work (gray room where you can only click on bed) - cursor doesn't change when on pickable items - no info or sign when using wrong inventory item on interactibles - no animations or sound when using items i.e. keys just disappears from inventory - inventory items aren't named when hovering over them - inventory items don't organize themselves, after using one there is an empty space in the inventory - dragging keys on doors sometimes work and sometimes doesn't - can access zoom area even when location is done - info text is blocking all interactions, you have to click exactly on arrows to exit - font says "cheap game" - clunky interface - weird collisions, I clicked on right item and had to click lower (i.e. hockey stick) - why am I facing towards door when entering a room? - items are in weird spots compared to the rest, i.e. i cleared a HO scene without reading which items I have to find - I've played for 1 hour and already know the whole story - too short, 1-2h game - no trading cards The game says at the end: "Share the love and let them know THERE are not alone..."
隐藏物品剧情小游戏。 技术力很弱。但是没遇到硬性BUG。 剧情不吓人也不有趣。 有中文,但严重机翻。 30分钟流畅通关。 没成就。
关注我们 甄游组 第一印象 免费游戏
