The Odyssey

The Odyssey HD is an indie point and click adventure game. The game has plenty of places to visit, puzzles and mini games. I played the Greek version, in which the dialogues are humorous and fun to read. An interesting and fun way for children and groneups to get to know Homer's Odyssey as its plot is ,as possible could be, accurately based on it. The graphics-drawings are also nice. What I disliked on the other hand was the lack of animation ( the characters just move from one place to another fading out and fading in). Also the control mechanism is not the best. Music is also poor. Overall it is a fun game, appropriate for any age, educational for anyone interested in ancient Greek Mythology, and IMO it is definatelly worth our support.

Reminds me of the classic, good old point and click games, which are always a joy to play as they are nostalgia inducing. I love the good looking simple graphics and the adventure elements it has to offer, it's fun and it has lots of contents to go through. 7.5/10

Point and click inspiré de ceux des années 90, relatant le thème classique de L'Odyssée. Les +: - Bonne transcription de l'histoire - Graphismes des personnages old school agréables - Enigmes globalement sympas et rejouabilité correcte Les -: - Bugs au démarrage dans la version pc (préférer la version portable) - Pas d'indices disponibles dans le jeu, on doit le quitter pour les chercher sur internet (et très difficile de progresser sans) - Décors assez souvent baclés (surtout les cités) - Musique correcte mais un peu hors sujet, bruitages pas terribles - Traduction FR trop enfantine - Un peu trop cher pour ce que le jeu propose Hors adeptes du revival 90, lui préférer d'autres adaptations. 8/20

Point and Click qui reprend l'Odyssée d'Homère avec moins de trait humoristique que Zeus Quest Des énigmes parfois compliqué et parfois simple, par contre quelques bugs graphique sur les texte du jeu. Il n'est pas très long si vous voulez le terminer (4 Heures en lisant les textes et 3H si vous passez tout, mais il faudra lire pour avoir des indices pour certaines énigmes).
