Very short, but a significant piece from the peak of flash games. Art.
First played this game in 2008 on Kongregate. It's fun and yet sad at the same time. I was more than happy to pay a few dollars to spend an hour being transported back to my teens and enjoying the story once again.
Very nostalgic
The Majesty of Colors was actually the first Flash game I played on Kongregate, and the reason I made a Kong account in the first place. It's a simple, bite-sized game, but still lovely. If you like old-school Flash games, definitely check it out.
This is one of those wonderfully weird little games that knows exactly what it wants to be. Playing as a deep-sea tentacle monster, you reach up from the water to poke and prod at the strange surface world. The concept is as funny and unique as it sounds, and the game executes it perfectly with simple but satisfying physics that let you toss things around with cartoonish abandon. For a game you can finish in 20 or 30 minutes, it packs a surprising amount of charm.
One of my all time favorite short little game experiences. I remember finding this shortly after it first came out all those years ago and I fell in love with I Fell in Love With The Majesty of Colors. It's not a long game, but it is worth it. It is one I used to come back to just to enjoy the eldritch whimsy.
A fantastic remaster that's even more majestic and colourful than it was all those years ago.
Played this game back when I was 14 and flash wasn't dead. You're damn right I'm gonna recommend it.
This is a fun little mid-2000s flash game remaster. Don't expect to spend more than 10-30 minutes on this, don't expect eye-popping gameplay, but enjoy the experience now long-gone of playing quirky thought-provoking flash games that were made just because the developer had an idea they wanted to share.
